What is edging?

Edging is basically touching your penis to get pleasurable feelings regardless of whether you orgasm or not. Masturbation is sort of like edging until the point where you orgasm. If you're touching your dick anytime other than when you're peeing or washing it, you're probably edging.

 

As far as I understand, edging is masturbating right to the point of orgasm, but then stopping, only to do it all over again. I used to do that for hours watching porn. It's prolonging masturbation and keeping the dopamine levels high.

 

Agree with the two last posts. The best thing is to avoid touching yourself alltogether tough. Touching yourself when not neccessary is rarely a good idea. It can lead to some dangerous situations. I usually dont reset if I scratch my balls and that leads to some kind of response from my penis. I dont reset if I touch my morning wood either. Yust dont let the tempation lead you to go any further. Edit: I do not recommend touching your morning wood. Edging is essentially masturbating with the purpose of controlling orgasm. Many adult film actors practice edging so that they can last longer on set. If a person has issues with ejaculating too quickly, they can train themselves to last longer by edging, so that they can last longer in bed.

For most of the veteran fapstronauts on this forum, edging counts as masturbation, regardless of whether or not porn was part of the equation. I personally would not recommend it. Focus on your reboot.
