  1. I'm new here. In my 30s, Single, Straight & looking to do as my name says and hold it in. I would say I have a definite masturbation problem, and porn addiction. Trying to get back into my faith, (I'm a Christian) and and this point I'm willing to try anything. I want to keep my masturbation habits to 1 time a week, I've been successful at such in the past and thoughrally enjoyed my orgasms more the longer I left it in. I do want to however cut porn out completely, as it leads me down such compulsory masturbation, night and day, day in and out. Which is completely detrimental to the way I want to enjoy life

So that's where I am. Thanks for having me here

  2. Welcome here! I hope you find the support you’re looking for. While I respect your position on M, for me, M always eventually leads to P because I always need something a little more exciting to reach O. And P is definitely exciting enough to get an O every time. You might not be that way and if so, good for you. For what it’s worth I went 99 days without M and I was a different person. I was super confident and my mind was crystal clear and I was on cloud 9.

Again, your goals are your goals and I wish you the very best. NoFap has been a great help for me. Take care!

  3. Hey thanks so much for your reply Jefe Rojo. I totally understand the articulation between masturbation and porn and how they can make ones experience that much more gratifying, I'm not really concerned about my masturbation habits as I've controlled them before, mine is mainly porn. Which makes my jacking off out of control. I love playing with myself, but the porn is like a wildfire that leads to all kinds of nonsense. One size def. Doesn't fit all, glad you found what works for you

  4. Thanks so much MuscularSherlockHolmes, nice to be here

  5. One thing we can agree on is that P is way way worse than M. P is poison and it erodes our sense of self worth and messes with our ability to experience a healthy sexual relationship.

  6. If you don’t mind my asking, often do you view P? Is this the first time you’ve tried to do something about your addiction? How long are you able to abstain?

  8. up until recently (a few days ago) it was daily I was looking at porn, No, not the first time. Ive tried many times but also recently started taking my walk with God more seriously, so that's mostly where this stems from. The longest I've been able to abstain is two weeks or so but couldn't go much more than that without being driven crazy by my penis

  11. Well, in the past when I lasted more than a few days without masturbation I tried to keep myself busy. Until I was so worn out I didn't want to Jack off, only wanted to go to bed, now however I'm trying to incorporate a more spiritual walk which I'm more than willing to tweak to get the desired results. I think masturbating is healthy, and even don't think God has too much of a probelm with it. It's everything else especially pornography that brings real troubles into ones life from my perspective. Thanks for the encouragement Jefe. I hope so too

  14. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profilesection..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal. Make sure and be grateful for the help you received and help after receiving some. Invest in some people's journeys. We could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Make sure and be grateful for the help you received and help after receiving some. Invest in some people's journeys.

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
