On my journey to travel down roads, I'm unfamiliar with and to improve myself and my place in this world, I will take on one of the most challenging things I know. Becoming a United States Marine. This decision only came within the last 2 weeks. But I think it's fate. And it's the right thing for me to do right now in my life. I'm excited and scared. But I think it's okay to be both? I've learned a lot about myself in the past year. Everything I have gone through led me here. Take your shot. Especially if you're young. There aren't many excuses to say you can't do anything. (Also I haven't done anything PMO-related in over a week and I feel pretty good.) F.A.Q. When do I ship? --- What's my MOS/Job? --- San Diego or Parris Island? Parris Island
Make sure your BMI is good for height . Start running at least 3 miles everyday 100 push everyday 30 pull ups a day and 300 sit-ups that way you will be good and ready for bootcamp . You picked the best Branch in my opinion . Don't spank your tube steak either.
does that mean you gotta jog in the ocean holding a machine gun over your head, an crawl in the sand with black paint on your face
Get as lean and strong as you can that way before you go to boot camp it will make it that much easier . What ever you do dont get attached to a female before going and I would recommend you dont get attached any women while your a Marine. Most women that are hooked up with military guys are over weight and unattractive there is reason for that . I am not saying they are bad women actually they are a sweet as can be but if your married to a hottie and gone lots of guys are going to be sniffing around . My experience and what I have seen there is a trend of the hot ones cheating on their husbands I have seen it over and over again .Best bet for you and your sanity is while your a marine dont get attached. BTY not just the hot ones cheat its just more likely that the hot ones are going to get the attention . Sad but its just nature and part of being human .
Congratulations! Being in the military (US Navy) resulted in me getting into a great career which I’ve been in for over 27 years, aviation maintenance with a major airline. Also I got to experience lots of great places in the world which I wouldn’t have if I hadn’t joined. My fondest memories are bike riding around the island of Okinawa while on detachment there. Best wishes to you!!!!!
Thank you for all the messages, everyone. I look forward to sharing my journey leading up to when I ship out as well as my NoFap journey which I found I have wandered into again.
Damn. Good luck. They will make you into a man. Im sure porn will not be a problem after you get through basic training. In fact I'm positive it wont be.
In the Marines you will be exposed many sexual situations there is very little boundary's between soilders. Porn can become a huge problem along with all kinds of imaginable real life sexual situations in the Marines . You name it happens in the Marines . I have a very good friend that has a huge sexual addiction problem and makes my habit look tame . Just listening to his stories over his 28 years in Marines had my eyes wide open . I have also been along on a few of his conquest when he was on leave and I put myself in some horrible situations over the years. He is one of the best guys I know, he has a huge heart and is honorable and very successful financially . I told him about nofap he said everyone is different to this day he pmos sometimes 4 times a day and has Signs of ED . He fixed that with hormone therapy though . What I am trying to say is he is naturally that way and is happy I suppose I am not him so I can't say . But what I can tell you from my experience is be honest with yourself the worst betrayal we as individuals is to go against our own nature and try to be something we are not .
Absolutely do not do 100 pushups and 30 pullups a day, and don't do situps at all. This is very dangerous advice. If you want to exercise, learn the basics of exercise first, and then find a prepared routine online. I can suggest some sources, if anyone is interested.
Don't get caught on art 120. As most folks get their career end. When you finished the last week of boot camp, you'll know what I'm talking about. Good luck of the paradise marine.
Wow i am not a citizen of the US but i have always a fan of of the US military, best in the world. any maybe just maybe this is what u were born to do, even if its tough put your best foot forward
I agree, not to sound like a hater but im in university right now, and while guys are dreaming about girl x, the guys grades are falling and they are failing many many of there courses, meanwhile girl x is banging the jocks and still topping the class lmao
