Why I feel like porn addiction is very similar to smoking crack

I’ve had this theory for awhile, but never posted about it and I feel like it’s finally time for that. So we all know that PMO addiction shares a lot of the same traits and chemical responses as drug addiction does. But I feel like they’re related in a different way as well, I watch that documentary show on National Geographic called Drugs Inc and one episode I saw focused only on crack. They interviewed some crack addicts and they explained that the first time you ever smoke crack is the best and most euphoric high that you will ever get from it and after that, no high that you get from it is as good or euphoric, but you’re constantly chasing the dragon by trying to achieve that same high that you got from the first time you did it, and you never achieve that again no matter how much crack you smoke, even if you get to the point of overdosing.

I feel like PMO addiction is the same way, that first time you ever get off to porn is the most intense and euphoric climax that you will have with this addiction and it will leave you wanting more and you will keep chasing that same climax that you got the first time that you got off to it, but you quickly get desensitized and it’s impossible to ever achieve that same climax again. But you keep going, you know that you’re addicted to PMO and don’t want to be, but what you’re searching for is that perfect video that will feature everything that you’re into and will give you that same intense climax that you got your first time and then you’ll be done, you’ll never look at porn again and will lose interest in it and the addiction will come to an end. Except that never happens, you’re chasing the dragon by trying to find the perfect video that won’t exist and never will and trying to achieve a result that will never happen again, only when you realize this and are committed to breaking the cycle can you truly kick this addiction for good.

 

I still remember my first time, it was back in 2006 when I was 12. I had gotten a Compaq laptop as my first computer and discovered Google images, I have had a foot fetish for as long as I can remember and I got the idea to do a Google images search for girls feet. I was instantly hooked and still haven't been able to break free.
