Are all Os the same?

This is a question I ponder (in the subject line).

Because at the end of my 97 day streak in 2018, I had actual sex.

Then I found myself in the chaser for a long time.

And throughout the rest of the year, could not have long streaks.

It makes me wonder if sex is really different from masturbation for a man.

The orgasm's impact on the neurotransmitters is the same.

The stimulation of dopamine.

But in sex, most people don't do it over and over and over in the same day.

The addiction to PMO stimulates so much dopamine in the brain,

it messes up the reward system.

But having real sex, although far more satisfying,

ultimately has the same problem for me,

which is a desire for more after some reset time.

There I am again, chasing the elusive dragon.

What torture, this life!

How much suffering exists?

I suffer in the pursuit of love, I suffer in the dating scenario,

I suffer in the afterglow as I wonder when this encounter will happen again,

I suffer again in the agony of loneliness.

I suffer inside of the relationship, trying to keep it all together against

it's natural state of zero inertia.

I suffer as I seek validation and companionship, to no avail.

I suffer if I avoid the whole process, pretending to immerse myself in the

television, trying to convince myself that this is good enough.

And, I reckon,

I'll be suffering more tonight

because I always go peacocking when I sing karaoke....

 

Yes, I'm a born-again myself.

The fact is, I believe, that God created Eve because it "is not good for man to be alone".

Being happy with myself, the career, and all that stuff is great, but there is a special place

for a woman in a man's life.

Contemplating my navel all day aint gonna get it, unfortunately....
