Should the term “milf” exist in nofap?

I dislike the term but I had censorship so I reckon say whatever you want to say homie. Stopping people from saying what they want to say is bulltwang.

 

Not using potentially triggering words is being sensible and is nothing about censorship...

The term "MILF" serves a practical function because it excludes any notion of a romantic relationship, and defines a goal that is purely sexual. This is OK. MILFs have no interest in younger guys other than for sex, the only difference is that they just don't have an acronym for us. So yeah.

 

I voted no since I figured if we’re here to recover from porn then we’re also here to recovery from a porn style mindset. Words like that really have no place, IMO, in a recovering porn addicts vocabulary. As for censorship itself goes on this site, well, I’m more of a “let people say whatever they want” type of guy. Just know full well you also get to also accept the consequences and repercussions of what you say.

It's an offensive acronym that many of us have used in search engines while chasing the mythical quest for satisfaction/fulfillment through porn. Bottom line, it is offensive, degrading, and is language that keeps me stuck in a place I rather not be. So I support people being careful in using any and all porn-style search language here.

 

I think you meant cougar, not MILF. A MILF is a mom YOU want to have sex with. A cougar is an older woman/mom who wants to have sex with YOU.

I’ve known a couple of women who like objectifying derogatory talk in the bedroom. I haven’t met one woman that likes it from a complete stranger in public; whether that be face to face or online.

Something tells me even you @Get_It have enough common sense to not call a woman you’ve never met a milf to her face. Even with your “unicorns exist” defense of the word milf.

 

Just my subjective opinion:
I don't want to feel like I'm walking on eggshells in a forum that is specifically created to represent a collection of diverse views on one big topic.
If somebody calls me a milf, that doesn't affect my life and my freedom to be what I am. If you objectify me, I do not become an object.
Censorship and calling words wrong, however, makes me wonder if there is another thread where another word is deemed inappropriate. I don't want to be afraid of expressing exactly what I think and feel openly, moreover, I don't want other people to be afraid to share their opinions with me. I talk to others precisely because others have an opinion that is different than mine, one I disagree with and may dislike. Otherwise I would just talk to myself all day.
Sorry if I'm making this sound more than what it is. I'm sure OP didn't mean it to be such a big deal, besides, I'm extremely unlikely to ever call anyone a milf and more likely to myself be called that, and therefore perhaps I don't exactly fit to have say in this discussion. But I think we tend to see the effect of a distress (e.g. a word) and try to eliminate it (the effect) when what we really want is to relief the cause.
