    Feeling a little triggered tonight because no PMO and no MO for 7 days. So everything is kind of triggering. :}

    But I have to remember, the addiction craves the high so much, it will turn these cravings into mirages. So I feel them, and figure oh, this is worth blowing my time for.

    But if I do, all I got was a 5 second orgasm.

    The more I can remember that the cravings create mirages in my mind, the easier it is to avoid them. Even if they DO seem to be very attractive propositions.

    Indeed they are. I had a similar approach and when presented with a mental or physical mirage I would say "there's got to be something better".

    So my question is, how and when do they disappear? Sometimes it feels like once I'm triggered the first time, it's just a waiting game to see how long I last before relapse. It's rarely more than 24 hours before I give in. I'll be free from triggers for 10-12 days and then one hits me, I push it off, another hits me, I say no, but by three or four my patience and resolve are wearing thin....and I relapse. So how do you think someone can get rid of a trigger and make it disappear instead of just going into hibernation mode for a few hours?
