You may not be breaking the letter of the law (orgasming from porn), but you're definitely breaking the spirit of the law (edging and flooding your brain with dopamine)-which will in turn dig the Addiction "teeth" of DeltaFosB deep into your physiology and keep you enslaved to PMO.

Hmmm I usually only feel fear of binging when I feel a massive urge. What worked for me was to cite something every time I felt urges. It could be your personal mantra, or a quote or something. That is what worked best for me

  7. The simplest answer is if its artificial stimulation, you should not think about it. You really can't avoid thoughts, if i tell you not to think of a yellow car you'd think of a yellow car, it is how it is. Similar thing works with porn, if you force yourself not to think about porn sometimes you'd have a hard time forcing yourself not to think about the porn. You will sometimes unconsciously think about sex but its important that you be aware of those as soon as possible, and react to them properly. If you catch yourself thinking about sex, or porn or masturbation, focus on the present moment and observe your environment, or distract yourself by thinking about something else.

  9. Also udit, you may think you are free since you aren’t Ming, but you are really still a slave. I went for awhile (8 months without M) but was still slipping up with P. Eventually, you become miserable and you will M. You need to and you can overcome this.

When you are craving a bit of dopamine, look at some harmless things like videogames on youtube or something that’s not about sex. Listen to podcasts by tim keller

  15. I think this is a-okay, u376. Especially if you're not masturbating and IF it's not interfering with your everyday life.

Besides... Looking at images doesn't mean one is necessarily objectifying another person.

ok....well i was thinking the same thing.....also yes psubs are harmful......but i dont feel intense dopamine rush unlike porn....while using them......so yes they are not as much harmful as hardcore porn

  17. Here's the deal ...NoFap reboot can really be simple, but what we tend to do is to complicate it. We decide to torture ourselves with all types of tricks or excuses to get us back to addiction. This is why it takes some people a specific period of time to finally quit porn once for all. Some take a year, two, five or ten to finally once for all do their best to quit pornography, and this is the part when they usually succeed. The mistakes they used to do before, formed into lessons.

My point is, do not play games with yourself, take this seriously and work on it. Time is ticking fam.

For me using any form of social media is a no. It always leads back to porn for me every single time. And in most cases I can spend just as much time browsing for material on social media than I have done browsing porn. If you're sexually aroused while looking at material then how is that different to porn? (obviously it's not exactly the same and it's better than porn if used in the right way, but still).
