1 YEAR TODAY!!!

Today marks one year of no 'PM'!!! I'm so excited about this!!! It has changed so much in my life!!! I no longer feel trapped by pornography. Do the occasional images pop up in my head from the past...yes...does it affect me and drive me the way that it used to...NO!!! My wife is so extremely proud of me too!!! We went from being a husband and wife who felt like roommates to a husband and wife who can't keep their hands off of each other!!! I crave my wife all the time now because of no 'PM'!!! Pornography steals, kills, and destroys any and ALL intimacy!!! You must seek to destroy ALL pornography that has taken over your life!!! For those who think it can't be done, I said that many times over the years to no avail. It wasn't until I found this community and had a very strong 'Why?' for eradicating porn out of my life. If I can do it, then I know you can too!!!

I am overall happier and feel more determined than what I used to be to get stuff done. I understand that this will be a lifelong fight, but I am stronger now to be able to fight!

 

Don't feel down on yourself. I went back and forth for years until I finally had enough. You have to have a strong 'Why?' and a solid support network. YOU CAN DO THIS! You can meet your goals! Don't think of just wanting to get through 30 days. Get through one day and then write about your accomplishments and what you struggled with. You do that enough times, and 30 days will just show up all of a sudden!

What Jesus accomplished on the cross, by spilling His blood for us, taking our sin and giving us His righteousness, and ultimately rising from the tomb three days later is wonderful news! Fix your eyes on Jesus, believe the message, and He will save you. My prayers are with you and everyone else in this battle of pornography!

 

'PMO' definitely kills relationships! It isolates you and keeps you from wanting to engage with others! Keep those relationships alive and remember the feeling of the interaction with an actual person. That is real and life giving! Porn is fake and leads to destruction! YOU GOT THIS!
