How I beat PIED several times within WEEKS

    Brothers, yes, the title is not clickbait. It really happened. I will explain and tell you how to speed up your reboot too!

    Please be aware that 90% of what is listed below, I have been doing for years already, and thus was able to fix PIED this fast multiple streaks in (before my addiction kicked back in in full binge mode and I regained PIED).

    This post will be a list of all the things I researched and did to speed up my reboot. I was scared of going 90 days, so I wanted to do them as best as I could, so the process would not take as long as some stories I read of where it took them a full year.

    So onto the list. What will speed your PIED recovery the f*ck up?

    1. Exercise. This is not debatable AT ALL. There have been hundreds, possibly thousands of studies that already showed the multitude of amazing health benefits on too many areas that not exercising is by definition not taking NoFap serious. That is no joke, and no overstatement. Exercise lowers blood pressure (good for erections and fixing vascular ED), trains your nervous system, strengthens your prefrontal cortex (because you train your willpower), improves immune function and so much more. I highly recommend EVERY Fapstronaut to do strength training AND cardio. Swimming is in my opinion the BEST cardio. Do this consistently, and PIED will be gone sooner than you might expect
    2. Meditation. I once read a study that showed that meditation increases dopamine for a significant amount. I don't remember the exact amount, but it was around 25% or so. That is a LOT. Meditation trains your mind and teaches your body to relax, lowering cortisol (stress hormone) and more. Meditation for only 10 minutes per day has amazing benefits in 30 days, and is a catalyst for recovering from PIED.
    3. Eating well and healthy. Scrap junk-food forever. You are what you eat. I can go in full idiot-mode, talking for hours about this subject, but if you really want to know more, go read ''Get Serious'' by Brett Osborn. He is a neurosurgeon who is ripped as f*ck. He explains why eating well is SUPER IMPORTANT. Eating things that contain anti-oxidants, for example, help dilate blood vessels, thus making erections stronger, better and easier to get and maintain.
    4. Avoiding stress. Stress is something that puts the brakes on everything that's good. I won't go further on this subject since we all know that stress is bad. Stress will halt your recovery. so do all you can to limit stress, or to handle stress better. Yoga, mindfullness, meditation, sleep, exercise and eating well are one of the best ways to fix high stress.
    5. Sleeping. Never cut back on sleeping. Sleep 8 hours per day. Especially during NoFap, since the brain needs that down-time to adjust to this gruesome challenge. During sleep, our brains store, fix and make all our connections we made during the day. Give your brain all the time it needs. Sleeping 6 hours every night for 2 weeks instead of 8 has already shown to have devastating effects on health and functioning. Do NOT underestimate this. Sleep well my brothers.
    6. Stop drinking alcohol and smoking. I will not lend any more words to smokers and drinkers since they already know all to well that smoking and drinking are highly toxic and life-ruining. Please stop doing that.
    7. Drink loads of water. Water cleanses, nourishes and detoxifies us. It is also critical for brain function. And the brain is what we are trying to fix, so give that thirsty boi some liquids.
    8. Supplementation can work wonders. L-arginine, Omega-3 fatty acids, Pycnogenol, magnesium combined with zinc, Resveratrol, Curcuma and Vitamine D are supplements that I highly recommend. I don't have enough time and space to explain all of them. Just know that I experimented a lot with many supplements, and these are the only ones that really passed my selection.

    Do all of these things, and PIED will run away crying like a little girl

    Definitely gonna try leveling/reducing stress & sleeping more. Not just for nofap purposes but for acne and stuff too

    Started running 30 minutes, every other day, that combined with increasing the amount of leafy greens I eat did wonders for my boners. Our ancestors walked miles everyday, and our lack of doing so has played a number on our vascular systems. Nitric Oxide production decreased, which is needed to keep veins/arteries dilated, and flexible, lowers blood pressure, and resting heart rate. Two weeks into this and my erections are firm when I get them, and almost everyday they feel improved. I believe it will take months to get my cardio system back in shape, but it's working wonders so far.

    Sounds like you are right on track! And you are well informed as I have noticed in other posts. I have the hardest time with my diet. I think that if I improve my diet further, it will be even better

    Welcome to the club, I ate my first salad a few weeks ago, in my 20s,lol. Grew up on Cajun food, not the healthiest, it's good though. The standard American diet is one that is not good for endothelial cell health. Honestly I just eat two bowls of baby spinach everyday. It taste like nothing, and for a person who doesn't like vegetables it works for me. High in plant nitrates, which the body converts directly to NO.

    • Increased the number of gym days per week from 3 to 5
    • Increased the amount of time at gym from 35-40 mins to 120 mins
    • Increased weights, reps, resistance
    Feels great!
