So ive decided to take a serious step at this nofap. Been 17 days in and I swear I feel like I'm at deaths door step. Extremely low energy, It feels like I have a minor case of the flu, not really having emotions towards anything. Is this normal?

If you think about it in terms of hormones, O’ gives you a huge mix of different hormones that are associated with connection (oxytocin), happiness (seretonin), and others. If you’ve gone from a large history of regular O’ing, the. You’re not flooding your brain and body with these previous hormones. You’re adjusting to such changes as you no longer experience this. In a similar way to withdrawal from medication etc. I’m at 22 days and similarly have lower energy, but it’s also due to a stressful few weeks, so I can’t say for certain that it’s not just because I haven’t MO’d every few days. If the feeling persists, then definitely go see a doctor, and make sure you are focusing on eating well and exercising - getting some of these good hormones flooding your brain in other ways.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I've heard about the NoFap and kinda just went in without really seeing if there would be any effects like this (not typical of me). I figured I'd stop and my body would over time adjust but I never anticipated all this happening. After further research, I've become more educated on the situation and I'm excited for what the future may hold!
