  1. To respond more on topic: in my recent experience of joining a forum for writers that is far different than here, I would say people need to stop complaining about "censorship" here and count your blessings. My writer's forums have a rule against posting anything that "any reasonable person would consider offensive." Who decides what "reasonable" means? Well, heck if I know. But from my experience so far, it is a massive echo chamber, where most everyone is simply offended by anyone saying a thing they don't agree with.

These forums are pretty dang free in comparison.

But why couldn't an argument be constructive? I think a good calm(ish) argument is way more constructive than everyone just pretending to agree with everyone each other says. Ideas can never reach their truest forms if they never go unchallenged.

Yes, I see the irony :D
But what I said was true. Sometimes argument is just needed. To me a bigger problem seems to be that the argument seem to be all too often mostly off topic.

  4. Porn is spiritual warfare. This is why it's omnipresent and forced on people in the West.

Talking all day long about fictional stuff like "PIED" doesn't help to recognize the real nature of the conflict and the WMDs used in it.

Nobody has to go all the way and submit to Christ, but being in complete denial of what for example causes wet dreams doesn't help the cause a bit.

I also won't recognize a forum as "secular", which talks all day long about "superpowers" with people attributing everything to themselves, while being in denial of the real superpowers. That's just ridiculous.

  5. You just said PIED to be a fictional thing! I know it doesn't matter to you, but you just proved yourself not to be taken seriously to me. And I am a nobody, so don't take it in an offensive way. But this is a highly misinformed/ignorant claim on your part, nonetheless.

  6. You are very narrow-minded if you think the whole world should believe in the fairytales you choose to believe in. Christ may or may not be real, but shoving him down everyone's gullet is pretty ridiculous too.

  7. There is no scientific proof that "PIED" actually exists. It's unproven theorycrafting. The same goes for all the talk about "superpowers". In the end, most of the topics here center about esoteric and witchcraft.

ED exists obviously as a medical condition. But it's a sad thing to see SOs come here believing that "PI" ED is actually real and then go and ruin their marriages based on it.

At times he wasn't, at times he was a jerk. If you actually read the gospels you'll see a complicated character.

Yes I'll admit at times I'm angry. I find the attitude of many Christians to be agitating. The black and white thinking is ridiculous because life is more complicated. The life of Jesus shows us life is less about black and white - the guy broke the ten commandments and still was a son of God.

The shame and pain I experienced within the church because of my porn addiction makes me angry. Everything the church taught did nothing for me. Praying, fasting, reading the Bible, going to church, going to Bible study, going to prayer meetings, going to Christian conferences, reading Christian books didn't help. The greatest help came from neuroscience. The church didn't give any answers, all it gave was feeling that I completely sucked. So yes I'm angry. I wish I hadn't listen to those stupid preachers and authors. To be fair I learnt about what neuroscience was saying through a Christian therapist but he learnt about it from secular science - it had nothing to do with God or Jesus.

It's funny you would say that when Jesus commanded his followers to hate their families and their own life.

  9. I used to be very angry, too, especially at Christians (before I became one myself).

Then one day I shoved away Satan, who was angrily talking to me all day long (I confused him with my "inner voice") and finally managed my reboot (a streak which lasted 77 days), while I was baptized and reborn in Christ. I've broken the spell.

Since then I have peace of mind, lost all anxiety and depression and became a happy confident man, who is socially adept and attracts women just by being around them.

I never visited a therapist nor did I take any medication.

  11. I know you probably don't want me to, but I'll respond to this privately. I don't want to continue to go off topic.

  12. Well a mod just reminded everyone to stay on topic, so I'm going to respect that. But I don't feel right about leaving that unanswered.
