Dealing with the pain

I think this happens to all of us who try to quit pmo and we all suffer greatly. It feels as though my life is leaving me everytime I relapse, and yet it happens over and over even though I have been trying to quit for 3 years now. I don't think there's are any answers here but just know that were all in this together and we at least dont have to suffer alone in this community, it's okay to fail over and over again, at least we are aware of our problem and working on solutions.

 

It happens over and over because its an addiction, and a strong one at that. Your primitive reward center is overriding your rational brain. You can do it though. I have been 19 days now, after 30 years of abuse!

Just know that you're not alone. It's an epidemic

 

There is no easy way out of it, embrace the pain and suffering in advance and just hold on. Changes are uncomfortable, but breaking out of addiction is pure hell. "When you walk through hell keep going".
