honestly this is worrying - it should get BETTER not WORSE after such a long time.
    I observed something similar.
When I was masturbating more often I got withdrawals but I was coping. Now I relapsed twice after 120 days [once] then after 15 days [twice] and my withdrawal symptoms are killing me. Its definitely stronger than ever. Why is that? The logic would be the less poison you took, the lesser the symptoms right- and here its like my body is reacting to it like it developed some sort of allergy to it.

I have same thing with alcohol. 3 years ago I could still drink a fair amount and be okay. Nowadays I got hangover after one stupid drink!

Its either I got used to being HIGHER on energy level and any lower state depresses me or - the less I do it, the less I enjoy it and I can see this thing for what it truly is - A POISON.

  6. That's why a lot of people still complaining about symptoms after a long abstention when they relapse. It is because their brain still in the process of rebooting. The more days I go without pmo the more severe the withdrawals become till my brain accept the abstention.

Has anyone fully recovered from PAWS? We need any success stories we can find - I'm coming on 8months (had sex once at 7months - never again) - and social anxiety, lethargy etc etc is like being in a constant prison.. it's hard to even imagine life without it now

Do we one day wake upand just feel completely normal again? Has anyone reached the final goal?

I vow once healed Ill make an in depth post that if in anyway possible can help those coming after me. I've completely made peace with no sex or masturbation for the next few years - so full recovery, for as long as it takes for me.

This is very interesting topic. I ask myself the question how long can one blame PAWS for the problems he is having many times and still can't find the final answer. But one has to draw the line in the sand at some point. From the studies I could find regarding abstention and addiction there seems to be consensus in neuroscience that physical symptoms of addiction should not last longer then 70 weeks (17,5 months) at most with exception of some new synthetic drugs that can really FU your brain long term. Most of the cocaine/heroin/alcohol addicts' brains needed 6 to 11 months to return to baseline. I think 70 weeks of abstinence is a good line in the sand. I've managed to do hardcore 16 months in the last 2 year period and still don't consider myself fully recovered. The problem is I've been addicted to this shit since 13 yo (binge MO 25y/PMO 17y) so I don't even know how normalcy should feel like. What are normal energy levels, libido, how much interest should one have in activities, other people etc? I'd described my current post PMO state of mind as living in a gray area. Robbie Williams described it best in one of his songs: "I don't wanna die but I ain't keen on living either." Is that PAWS related anhedonia or underlying depression… who knows?

  18. We can not forget pmo addiction is somehow different, because someone can still let some pmo fantasies played in her/his head, and that slow down healing in long-term. Also i think we pmo addicts constantly triggered. We sit in same room, where we pmoed, using same PC, smartphone etc. It is like sitting in a pub when someone is alcoholic, but want to be free.

  19. U can’t blame PAWS for all ur problems guys..
