It's difficult to debate statistics without knowing the source sample size.

However from what I have learnt since I signed up here I think the %'s of men watching porn in the various age groups are probably accurate.

More shockingly is the under 18 figures quoted, again from what I know to say 90% of boys and 60% of girls under 18 have been exposed to porn is probably accurate. However under 18 is a huge bracket, in many countries, including the UK the age of consent is 16 and so to compare 11 and 17 year olds muddy's the waters a lot.

The most startling statistic quoted is that the median age of exposure is 11!

However Median shouldn't be used here, and I think is included to create the shock value. Only one child in the sample exposed to porn at the age of 3 or 4 would create this result, sadly this does happen but is not common. The Mean age should have been the quoted figure.

 

And the very sad truth is things will never get better because it's just like the big tobacco and alcohol industry, and very soon the pot industry... 100% legal. As long as the government can collect tax on it, it's going to be legal. At this rate why dont we just make cocaine and meth legal as well. Hell, as long as the government is collecting tax dollars, they're happy. All they have to do is start some meth labs up and start making a deal with Columbia to import the finest rock and start packaging and selling. This world really does suck. It's all about money and greed. With greed this world will never succeed. World War III is imminent as well. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it started next year.
