God, I’ve never stopped loving your fucking name.

  3. It's a proof that if you've already gotten people's attention, you can sell anything in arts. However I think that is refreshing to see something other than money & bitches as a topic in mainstream hiphop despite the fact that I'm not quite sure whether religious belief is a good thing.

  4. Not his best album, but i enjoyed it. I listened to it 3 or 4 times. Realistically, i like 5 or 6 songs. Wound up gonna add only 3 or 4 to my playlists.

Gospel music to me is taking one of my favorite genres and shitting on it, soul music. But the gospel aspects were better than church music forsure, but worse than life of Pablo soul/gospel imo.

It was good. Idc for the god theme, but so be it (i dont dislike it, i just think getting to into it isnt great). I like most kanye's production over anything. & when kanye hops on his rapping flow, is crazy. Kenny g did a nice job. It's kanye's production that got me on this album, the overall sound. Found myself freestyling to that shit while listening

    Good album

  5. Everything old shall now become new / The leaves'll be green, bearing the fruit / Love God and our neighbor, as written in Luke / The army of God and we are the truth

  6. I've never listened to anything by Kanye West in my life, but I'm beyond happy to see mainstream celebrities standing up for what they believe in and using their platforms to spread the gospel. I think that's super awesome!

Can't say I personally like Kanye West all that much, but I'm happy he is telling people about Jesus.

  7. I cannot bring myself to even give it a chance. Sorry YE. Hope you can live without me buying your music, I hope you can understand I know I can. lol

Who buys albums anymore? If vinyl records were a thing for people of the 20th century, then surely people won't be buying albums (digital and physical) at all by the next century. After all, why pay for it if you can just get it for free (especially if there's no consequences)?

  9. I like having physical copies of albums. I'm Old fashioned I guess

  10. Forever love the name of Jesus

What do you mean? Gospel music was before soul music.

Kanye has never shut up about the random shit he believes in. The guy has no filter.

  12. True dat.
I cant comment on kanyes new work. But gospel music is beautiful. A lot of it isnt my taste. If it has a good true message then im ok with it. But im old school. I really love the old baptist hymns.

  13. Okay. Cool. Why is it bad for someone to talk about the things they believe in?

I love it! Kanye's music really inspires me to overcome porn addiction, and some lyrics in JIK and other albums like Donda and Yeezus are really uplifting when you're feeling low.

"Every man, every woman. There is freedom from addiction"
