I did 20 sessions of abstaining.
Only on 20 session I was able to do 120 days no pmo monk mode.
[think about it - 19 times I failed, sometimes at ;like 72 days or 80 days]

After 120 days - 4 months - I relapsed for TWO days only and my progress went into nothing.

So a year... its only 3 times longer [12 months]

... might even not be enough.

I started idk when... masturbation maybe 7-8 years old. maybe 6?
Porn? Idk... playboy magazines... maybe when I was 10-12? No idea.
    im 36.
lets be very optimistic and say its 24-25 years. Its like 1/4 of century. doing only this. And my body remembers only this.
I know the recovery will be a LONG process and this devil has stolen my youth :[ I cant believe it, I could achieve so much more... but the past is past, the future is the future and theres only present.
im not giving up and theres only one way to go - FORWARD!

ps. those 20 sessions are only when I started writing down my progress. before that I was trying to quit countless times for 2-3 years. Those 20 sessions took me 3 years. I think of myself as a severe addict. Im battling this since more than 6years... hundreds and hundreds attempts. But I will NOT quit until I will achieve supreme ultimate turbo mega victory lol

    Day 45 of no PM.

Notice I didn't say pmo as I had sex with my girlfriend twice in this period.

I did try to go hard mode but the relationship is new and i couldn't risk her leaving me.

No the physical side effects field I have noticed considerable improvement in eye floaters and muscle joint aches.

My erections are now much stronger as well. I used only 12.5 mg blue pill and stayed very strong throughout (before nofap I was using 100 mg and still struggled).

My sleep has improved immensely. I do not need aid of tranquilizers and sleeping tablets to get to sleep anymore. I do believe that heavy magnesium chloride dosages are helping this as well.

I still over heat though and i have taken a 3 week break from training which has done wonders for my energy levels. I will be back in the gym from the 1 st of November.

    Things are definitely looking up!

Reading this thread scares me, I'm 28 now and I have been a pmo addict for 10 years now, I've been watching porn on and off since I was about 9, but I've only been really addicted since 18.

I feel so much exhaustion from pmo and I'm not 30 yet, I can almost feel my body losing more and more energy every time I relapse (which is alot). I've always had alot of energy and been in pretty good shape even without exercising, but now I feel like it's starting to catch up with me. Having multiple orgasms a day for 10 years straight and having little to none social life is devastating, I just hope I can slowly recover before my body starts to really break down from pmo addiction.

Your story is pretty close to mine, except I'm 47... and I'd be pleased as **** to have a streak of 120 days hard-mode! I didn't realise I had a problem until I was 36, and spent 11 years slowly cutting down. It's only in the last few years, since I discovered Nofap that I've realised just how far down that road I've gone, and have been 100% committed to stopping completely.

For what it's worth there's still hope for you to have the life you want at the age you're at - I'd love to be back at that point in my life again. You are exactly right when you say that "the body remembers" - mine is absolutely exhausted, and I'm starting to wonder if it will ever recover in a meaningful way.

Hi, what dosage of magnesium chloride do you take? I usually take the Citrate form because it also works as a laxative... it definately helps with sleep, but only so far. In the past I tried injecting it (with medical supervision!) but that was back before I realised that PMO was a problem, so I was kind of pooring water in to a leaky bucket, if you see what I mean, and didn't get any benefit.

Dude, at least you've identified the problem at a relatively young age - I think you've got a way to go before you hit serious problems, but the mistake I made was to underestimate how seriously the problem effected me, and under-reacted to it for a long time, so it pays to be cautious IMO. It sounds like you are more aware of what's going on earlier in the journey, and still have time to get things sorted out.

Keep going brother, you can do it. I consider myself a severe case and I have reached a year no MO. My mind is finally changing, no more fantasies and it is starting to understand happiness from other sources in life. You are absolutely right that the future is still to come and it will be better when you are healed. I am 40 and started this last year and want to make my future as best as possible.

I've been using about just over half a tea spoon of chloride crystals in a glass of water at least three times per day every day.

I used to use 400 mg of magnesium glycionate and i was still getting muscle twitching. My blood tests show normal magnesium levels but 99 percent is stored in the tissues.

I am now nearly free of the twitches and when I do get them they are very mild compared to what it used to be before.

Also been using 2000 iu vitamin d plus a multivitamin complex.

Just got my cod liver oil today which I intend to use as well for a while.

Cheers Alex. The muscle twitches are a bad symptom - common in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. At times they are more like a constant spasm, happening at random in any part of the body.

Does it help with the muscle twitching?

I have been researching vitamin b increased dosages for nerve issues.

Sometimes they come back I'm not sure what's causing them all over the body.

It could be anything from magnesium to calcium to vitamin d .

I do know when they do come my eye floaters increase my joints acid more etc

yes. it calms down your whole nervous system. be sure to take it without food.

  15. Hey man, i was scanning through your thread because i have some problems that i think were caused by pmo also. I was curious, how bad were your muscle ache in the past and how much have they improved? Because i sometimes have really bad aches that seem to move round my body

  16. How's it going guys?

I haven't posted much on these forums in the past few weeks and I've only gotten to around a week or two before relapsing with or without P. It has gotten so bad that I've stared p-subs and P for hours on end and not get a single boner. Only once I was barely able to finish it with P, that's how sad it has been. My head literally felt it'd cut down in half after that, that's how bad the pressure and tingling were and those weird feelings have continued ever since but of course when I watch P they aren't really there. Yesterday and today I watched for a few hours in total, not only P but P-subs too stuff and I couldn't get it up and I'm on day 10 without MO. It was like watching paint getting dry on the wall.

I just don't understand myself. I notice I have much more fun doing pretty much anything else, be it socializing, playing a video game or even cleaning up the household. But for some reason my brain wants to hold on to the past, not realizing that P is done for me. It still remembers the times when I used to get a rock solid boner and continue on with the rest of the day day without feeling too bad after the deed was done. However, at the same time I feel that I'm finally getting out of it.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and perhaps got rid of it once and for all?

I am surprised to read you are 14 months clean and you are still recovering, I think then I have 2 years to reboot. I PMO'd for 15 years. This is my first time of hitting Day 29 in a row without PMO. I am always tired and sleepy. This is a great inspiration

I would recommend heavy dosages of flaxseed oil for joint issues and inflammation.

A friend of mine is a competitive athlete and has put me on 7 table spoons per day and I'm nearly pain free. It has only been a few days but it definitely works and better than fish oils

  20. I had the flatline symptoms before nofap. My body was already in the limit.
