Too Laptop To The Tip

Hi I am currently very worried.

I took my laptop to the tip and didn't format it properly. I thought it would get destroyed and I can move on with my life. And succeed in NoFap.

I've read up on what happens and they don't destroy it they sell the spare parts. I wish I would have read up on this before.

It has all my details on and what sites I've visited and my work address.

I am now terrified that everything will come out about my fetishes (including visiting escorts) and I will be pubically humiliated.

I don't know what to do. I'm thinking of coming clean and admitting it to my family and quitting my job. But if I do that I may lose my family and home.

I could keep quiet and hope for the best that whoever gets my laptop just wipes it before they use it. But it is hanging over me and I'm worried I will have a complete mental breakdown.

What would you do in my situation? Please no comments on my stupidity of not disposing of my laptop in a secure manner, I've already beat myself up over this.
