    Hello,

I have been suffering since last 20 years. But I didn't know such a great community exists! I was fighting alone and I was silly to consider edging as harmless practice.

Now, I came to know about this term called Brain Fog. I am sure that I must have experienced this in my life. But I want exact information on this so I can relate it to my symptoms.

    Help me friends!

I've always wondered this. Not sure if this is what people are referring to but I notice a more present mind, less mental chatter. I'm more inclined to focus on things and bring a certain thought process / thought activity to an end rather than get distracted. The difference is very subtle but also very real.

  3. Brain Fog for me is a feeling of not being able to think fully. Forming each thought is difficult and I feel really slow. My brain feels like mush or like I'm wading through treacle. It's very difficult to concentrate on anything. I used to get it after both O from sex and from PM. I hope that helps

That's why I am so weak in decision making. I find it so painful to sort out answer even to smallest day to day problems. I can't concentrate on anything. I always think about the things which are not so important at the moment. But, I run away from important things. Always feel absent minded.

That's why I made so many wrong decisions and f#@d my life. That's why I feel so lazy and unproductive ! I have a constant BRAIN FOG!

Help me friends! Please help me! Will this go away only by noFap or I need other help!

These lines are so true from that article, I literally experience this DAILY :

If I try to plan ahead, assess a situation, solve a problem or analyze something my brain stutters, whines and gives up like an old engine on a cold morning. A few seconds is all I can muster before I give up, lie down and load up Netflix.

  8. Brain fog is when parts or entire brain is impaired, brain is unable to work properly.
Brain fog feels like being drowsy, very similar to when you take strong flu medication that makes you drowsy. Or allergy medication
You feel disconnected from the environment, your thoughts are hard to manage, you find it hard to focus. Your brain is impaired.

Properly working brain gives us sharpness of thought, and lightness in thinking.

For someone to experience brain fog, something has to be physically wrong with the brain, wrong biologically.
Most common cause is inflammation, which maybe caused by diet. You can manage this inflammation by taking anti-inflammatory supplements like Rasveratrol and Curcumin.
These very rapidly reduce inflammation, and you will literally see brainfog clear-up within an hour. It may return again if underlying cause is not removed.

  9. I would describe it as not being able to get anything done or think clearly

It's when you feel like you're away from "the now" .. almost like another dimension. It feels like you're not alive for the moment you're body is in. It sucks. It's like a veil over reality. A life without wholeness

I don't know how to describe it other than an 'anxious mushy brain with fatigue and irritability'.

For me, I spend a lot of time staring blankly at things, and I can't make even the simplest of decisions. For example, I might be hungry, so I walk to my cupboard and stare at the canned food. Or I might go sit in my car with the intention of driving somewhere, but then I sit there for 15 minutes and get out of the car without going anywhere.

It's like your body is here but your mind isn't at all. You're disconnected from what's happening now and from what you're doing, so not only you cannot focus but decision making becomes a nightmare when brain fog is in full effect.
