Hi i'm on about week 3 of NoFap I previously made it 100 days. Urges to watch are kept at a minimum apart from this one video. I fantasize about it and it interrupts my daily routine. How do I loosen its grip on me and exit the fantasy?

  2. Battle those urges. Realize that whatever it promises you, is a digital illusion and mockery of real life intimacy. When you see it for what it truly is, you will no longer crave it.

Imagine your most loved ones are in front of you. What would they think if you are having obscene thoughts in your mind?

You are better than that... you've fought well and you still continue to fight...this is just one last weak ass attempt from that part of your previous self in inducing you to fall for porn again...you know you are better than him...battle him head on..

Erase that video and all others. Install pornblocker such as foxfilter

  6. Know that you are better then watching that. P is a drug. An illusion for your problems. You have to stay away from it for a positive mind.

  8. You'll get through it. I experienced the same thing and it eventually went away. All I had to do was keep fighting.

I relapsed last night and then again this afternoon cause I couldn't get that damn video out of my head. I wish my brain wouldn't focus on fantasies so much so it consumes me. At least after PMO I odn't have the urge or fantasy in my head.

Although I don' feel my urges having that much control over me these days, I have to admit that after almost 21 months of NoFap (hard-mode) much of the porn-videos and images I watched years ago (some even 15-16 years ago) are still etched into my mind and memory and just seem to have faded away slightly.
That's probably a sign of how potent, strong, addictive and mind-blowing PMO actually is because I still almost remember those scenes as something I watched not too long time ago although several years have passed since.

  11. Hey, join the club. You aren't the first. Consider what you have learned and how you could have fought it. Not dwelling on it is important as long as you are confident that you can build on what you have learned. No one is saying it is easy, but as long as you consider it a learning experience you will be fine.

  12. Me too. I never craved new stuff as much as going over old images or videos. It's like they are glued to your memory. It can be tough getting them out of your mind!

The porn flashbacks are very real and my biggest hurdle in this NoFap journey. Around the 30 day mark they seem to fade a bit, but they're still present. The best advice that I can give to you is that the flashbacks and urges will pass in time, so do not act. They will always pass like any negative thought. Suffer through them.
