So I believe I have PIED. mid 40's, and wife and I went thru a dry spell, or at least that's my excuse and I was watching porn several times a day for a year or two and have been unable to have sex.

So I finally read about PIED and talked to the wife, etc, she's been very understanding. I've quit porn since late summer, with maybe 1-2 relapses. However, I've been continuing to view Instagram, where I follow a whole bunch of hot fitness women. Also, I have a fantasy about my wife having sex with other guys so I've also been reading alot about hotwifing.

So I've never fap'd to instagram nor these hotwife forums, but was always wondering if this was somehow setting me back. I can get hard wood in the am and keep it for a while with light touching. But still when it comes to sex, it seems to go limp.

I saw another post here that just quitting porn isn't enough, you need to cut out all fantasy, etc, as that's what's causing the dopamine problem. Just wanted to confirm this was the case? That cutting out just porn isn't the total solution?

I have had to cut out porn, lust and also ogling other women. It has had a massive positive impact my relationship, and on my life in general. In my experience it all has to go.

Serous question do you seriously like the idea of some other man banging your wife what kind of beta shit is that. Go pump some iron and take control of yourself!

First, there's lot of people that do this. Second, when you've been having sex with the same person for 25+ years, come back to me and let me know how that's going. And lastly, pretty shitty to come to a forum like this and judge someone like that. stfu

Sounds like old man is mad. I'm not hating, but come on it really sounds like you have some more serious issues going on. Just because a lot of people do something doesn't make it ok or normal.
