My name is Simone and i am 21 years old. I started fapping since i was 16/17 and im struggling to stop it.

I have a particolar problem: when i abstain from porn, i sometimes feel a cronic headache (that usually go out in 15 min): i search for it and it seems like

due to abstain from a dopamine release caused by -masturbation.

I can handle it, but my huge problem is that usually when i study i get this headache (cuz stressed from exams) and my brain want dopamine so hard that i cannot study until i fap.
    Someone have this same problem?

    Have a nice NoFap journey

  2. That is an odd problem. I doubt whether this has anything to do with dopamine. Something that might cause headaches is computer / phone screens. In my experience, a pmo addiction is also an internet addiction. Leading to eyeballing screens more and more, till your eyes / brain hurts. See what happens if you have scheduled off-screen time. REAL off screen, not close the laptop - grab the phone. Maybe take a walk around the block, have a tea and stare into the distance, or read a paper book.

Also, I find 'dark mode' very, very useful. I work with two big, bright, sharp monitors day in day out. Tuned everything down to dark grays to save my eyeballs.

Always a good idea to stop pmo. Mainly the p. It's fun for a short while but some day you have to move on and let it go.
