Watch Porn After 16 Months Harmode

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Freeddom_Taker, Nov 29, 2019.

  1. Last night my brain convinced me to watch porn and silly me took the bait. I went and searched amateur porn for about 5 minutes. Straight off the bat symptoms such as tremors, shaking, confusion, brain fog returned. That's when I closed the tab. Let me tell you, I haven't seen porn in 480 days till last night. What I remark was the sites list a plethora of scenes on the first page. You will want to see all or most of them. And that could damage your brain overtime. I know I shouldn't return to those shit no more as my brain just woke up from pmo coma in 16 months.

  2. Be very careful in next 30 days, you became highly triggered, but if you can resist next weeks you can say you survived an "exposure therapy".

  3. I had a porn dream last night. It felt like reality. I guess I have to wait 7 to 10 days to let the porn I watched wears off.

What happened, happened. Try not to think about it and continue the good fight, your hard work all those days wasn't in vain and it's not wasted because of a mistake.

Remember, A slip should not become a slide.

I’m sorry that it happened to you freeddom. From what I remember you were one of the people who gave me support. I somehow hold on although I had a moment after which I was not sure if I should reset the counter or not.
At that time you probably have experienced very nice moments in your life without pmo. You know how your life will be without it, so keep fighting. It always helps me. There are sometimes moments when you just want to cry because of the situation in which you find yourself and it is not known how long it will last, but you must always find the strength to go on. I find.
Keep going. We start from different places but almost everyone goes through the same during reboot. I understand you.

  6. What's up man?
How's your reboot going so far?
Are you free of symptoms and PIED by now? If so, how long the process take?

I’m about 2 years on reboot and I’m still not free of symptoms. Recently my symptoms escalated and I don’t know why.

Bro, Ive been suffering for nearly a year and a half. I just fapped six times this week. Can you offer some advice? I just think that its hopeless for me, since Ive already fapped so much already in the past year and a half. Ive fapped 64 times in the last 18 months total

  10. 1-Stay away from explicit contents
2-Get out from your fappin spot and socialize
3-Have a strong reason you wanna quit pmo
    18 months is a quite a lot.

Did you mean that 64 times fapping in 18 months is a lot?

Hey man, just do your best to get straight back on the right track. All is certainly not lost. We all make mistakes and you have certainly made a lot of progress.

Put this little session behind you and keep moving forward ;):)

I went three years and decided to watch some porn. It literally did nothing for me. After a few minutes I turned it off and haven't watched it since that was 6 months back.

Imagine this you're watching a man fuck a woman you want to fuck it's embarrassing what kind of loser shit is that go out there and fuck a beautiful woman, that's all that played in my head.

SO how long has it been since you last masturbated?

Wow, that is incredible (the fact that you went 480 days without pmo). Inspiring. Most I've done so far has been 45 days (no orgasm), I've gone longer without porn.

  17. Yeah it's quite a lot... Once you quit fappin altogether you will experience withdrawals or post acute.

  18. I had to because I hit rock bottom. The brain couldn't cooperate with the abuse of pmo anymore after 7 years on and off especially from escalation.

Yeah, fuck this shit, it's never worth it. One must find more intelligent ways of dealing with the pain of life. I feel people use porn as an escape which paradoxically keeps them right where they are (usually in mediocrity). In my experience, when I have my shit together and I'm behaving in a focused manner AKA taking care of my responsibilities, etc, I don't struggle nearly as hard.

It's like what Stefan Molyneux said about smart phones. He said that people work these horrible menial jobs bt because they have their smart phones, they don't feel the pain as bad bc they're distracted. Therefore, they don't actually have the motivation to rise above their condition bc they're too comfortable in their shitty position.
