Or like the first few weeks?

  2. Okay. Seems cool but what may I ask is the point of being a nudist? Revolting against clothing?

I'm not totally on board with calling myself a nudist or a naturist. But I really enjoy attending these events though.

  5. This is how world started. People were naked. No clothes, nothing. Just something to cover themselves so they wont freeze to death. Seems nice.

Well, see that will mess up my recovery from the porn addiction and ultimately fantasizing and I guessed it, back to pmo again and relapsing. Seeing nude women is part of it.

Yeah but the more you go to events where people are naked, and don't have sex, you will associate nudity with sex less and less.

  9. its impossible only for perv people.
P is the action of Sex. you watch it when you are alone. you get boner when you are alone. but in a community which getting hard is rude. you wont dare to get hard. you got men?
but nudism isnt about sex, its just body, and when you see everything, your curiosity fades away.

Do you mean emotionally traumatised people who have become preoccupied with sex?

I don't think anything involuntary (e.g. sneeze, cough, hiccups, erection) can ever be polite or rude. One can deal with these things politely or rudely (e.g. covering your mouth when coughing).

I find myself looking at other people's bodies less and less

  11. Love this thread. I have been pushing myself to try this as a means of accepting myself. I think for those who have struggled with self acceptance nudism presents the ultimate challenge. I hope to conquer it this year. I didn’t know about the nudist saunas... not sure I’m ready for that — I wanted to start at the beaches and get comfortable.

That's interesting! I always wanted to do something like that, and I probably will someday. Must be nice on a beach, being in touch with nature, naked lol

I have a question: what exactly is the point of nudism if not for lusting over people's bodies? I mean, if it's the freedom of being naked, then why not just do it alone? Why does it have to be in a group?

I can answer your question even if I am not nudist :)

Close to my town, on the other side of the border ( in Germany), there is a place "Tropical Island". That place is amazing, mostly because is open 24 hours every day. Going to the point, part of the island is SPA area, and there is a sign that in this area you can't wear your swimming clothes. You can cover your body with a towel. So when I visit that place the first time many years ago with my ex, I asked her if she wants to go this part of the island to see what is going on over there. She wasn't interested, so I went alone. People were naked, kids, teens, old, very old, and very very very old. Everywhere naked people. My first impression was " no one cares about being naked". And believe me, 99% were out of shape, not fit, just normal. Three big jacuzzies were full of naked strangers. No one was running with boners. So I tried to :) And that day, all my complexes disappeared in the blink of an eye. Anyway, it's pretty funny when you sit in the jacuzzi with strangers, everyone naked and you talk about politics. The same in the Sauna, when actually everyone is "exposed" and nobody is stressed about that. Just relax.

From my point of view, nudism is about being who you are and accepting that. In Europe, in some countries, people are more open about nudity, same in Japan or Korea etc. My friend who lives in the USA ,said that it is sick, well... for some people: naked = sex, but it is not true.

Why does it have to be in a group?

    It doesn't have to.

Not just body issues. All kinds of emotional and psychological issues can be vicariously remedied with non-sexual social nudity.
