I don't remember much since it was long ago but I used to masturbate only using my imagination and nothing else like magazine pictures or anything like that.

Actually the quicker you ejaculate in a PMO session the less harm your doing.

You are aware the main benefits that come from nofap and pornfree is to do with what is happening in the brain and not to do with how much semen you have inside you?

The delivery is very different. Even if someone had hundreds of porn dvds, taking that one dvd out and putting a new one in is very different to having multiple tabs open on a computer, constantly going back and forth between them all, thinking of searching something new and getting it instantly, constantly searching, clicking, clicking, clicking.

It's not the same thing at all believe me.

A lot of people think the main problem is the type of porn your watching, how hardcore, weird it is ext. If you have developed a porn induced fetish. That is a problem, but it's not the main problem. The main problem is how the artificial sexual stimulation is being delivered. The delivery completely changed around 2006. This is the biggest cause of the rise in porn addiction and porn induced erectile dysfunction today.

Another thing is before high speed internet most porn users would of planned buying their magazines, dvds ext. These days everyone has a computer, smart phone ext. Ending up on artificial sexual stimulation might not necessarily be planned these days. A lot of the time it will be completely random and done on a whim. People might of been triggered by something they they seen on their computer or their smart phone ext. They might of had a thought to search something. But being triggered by something you see on your computer or smart phone, or randomly thinking about searching something is completely different to someone actually planning that they're going to go out and purchase porn dvds or magazines from a shop. You can clearly see the difference between the two of these. This was the difference before and after high speed internet. You can clearly see the extent of how much more people are likely going to use porn and artificial sexual stimulation after high speed internet than before high speed internet.

Before high speed internet naturally much less people would of been jacking off to porn and artificial sexual stimulation. You maybe got an overall small minority of hardcore porn users who had hundreds of porn dvds, magazines ext. But now we live in a world most people have automatic access to free unlimited high speed porn.

I m not scientist so what i say it can't be same for all of you,for me masturbation have harmful affects.Someone who only masturbate is honestly porn addict, why would he masturbate and damage himself them?In my life while i was pmo there was never any benefits of just masturbation.I can say surely that M is much less harmful than PMO,but in my eyes and logic it's not healthy and it will not be.

Seems you were not alive before the internet. I don't know if the whole 99% of men fap statistic is true I'm not one for statistics, but a lot of guys were fapping to porn before the internet it was very common, and yes you can go from one scene to another without having to change the DVD, you just flip a page.

I really don't see this difference at all between someone thinking of looking for porn on their phone and someone "having to plan to go to the porn shop". Porn is sold at the convenience store down the block you can just walk in there and look at it and have the clerk yell at you to buy the magazine, lol.

As for triggers they were potentially all over TV and in the movies, and magazines, etc. Sex has been a big seller for some time used in magazines, tv ads, etc.

I was alive long before the internet, and I had watched porn before the internet, but it was very rare.

Yeah switching to another porn scene on a dvd isn't anywhere near on the same level as what you can do on high speed internet.

Every time you think of searching something that sexually arouses you dopamine rises, every time you search something that sexually arouses you dopamine rises, every time you find and see something that sexually arouses you dopamine rises. High speed internet is a dopamine producing machine, multiple tabs open, flicking about them all, constantly searching and seeing something new every second that sexually arouses you, masturbating to one clip one second, one image the next, another clip the next second, another 20 images the next, another porn video the next minute. Stuff like this going on and on and on. Guys edging masturbating doing stuff like this for hours before they ejaculate. Do you have any idea how high the dopamine will be in guys brains who do this? It's complete dopamine overload.

Your profile says you are 28. The internet was mainstream by 1999 I believe, others have it a bit more recent. So no you were not alive long before the internet unless your age in your profile is wrong, and the internet was around before 1999 as well it just wasn't as huge. The internet went online worldwide for the public in 1991. Your birthdate

As for dopamine rush, how about the rush of going into a sex shop wondering if people will see you as compared to the much safer anonymous watching of porn at home. This creates a taboo element and an element of danger.

As for searching for new images. Going from tab to tab is little different than going from a magazine to a magazine. You are just going from picture to picture to find new stimulation. You can do the same with a magazine. Chronic wanking was around before the internet you just were not alive then so you don't remember it

I more meant I was alive for a while before the internet went high speed. I was alive when it used to be dial up internet and you used to need to wait about an hour for one image to load. The days trying to view any porn on the internet was pointless.

I began masturbating around the age of 11, and I would say on average I was probably masturbating once a day until the age of 18. I mostly always masturbated just using my imagination. I did see some porn on the tv in this time, and also some pornographic magazines. But I rarely masturbated to this sort of stuff. I usually always masturbated just using my imagination. When I was 18 I got my first laptop, this was in 2009. This is when everything changed. It didn't take me long to discover all the high speed pornography on the internet. I went from being a guy that was rarely ever in the house to a guy that hardly ever left his bedroom. I began PMOing all day every day or most days, and this went on for nearly a decade.

Maybe going from pornographic magazine to magazine could be on a somewhat similar level to social media images or high speed internet porn images if you were getting a hundred new magazines every day. But your going to get bored of those same old magazines very quickly, and would need to get new ones to keep the excitement and arousal going. With high speed internet the content never ends, and you have it all instantly. It's also well known that videos are overall much more arousing than images. With high speed internet a guy could have multiple tabs open of different porn videos, images, social media images, cam sites, constantly going back and forth between them all, constantly searching more within seconds or minutes. Constantly finding and seeing something new constantly.

Thinking that the delivery of pornography and sexual content was just as damaging before high speed internet is a bit ludicrous to be honest.

  16. Maybe it's very difficult to over-masturbate without porn. So, they don't suffer overuse injuries and hence don't really notice it. Just a guess.

I can not visit this "YourbrainonMasturbation" wbsite.could you please give me a new?

  18. I can turn this argument against you in a heart beat by changing your own statements to say the opposite.
We have no scientific evidence that masturbation has negative effects, vast majority of men masturbated for as long as we can see in history and absolute majority do so today.
If significant benefits existed, people would abstain to get them.
Speaking from personal experience I did 60 days without masturbation and saw no benefits.
The opposite was true, I was hyper-focused on sex and constantly distracted by sexual thoughts and strong arousal.
Three weeks in It was so distracting that I would say I performed my normal activities worse than I would normally, if I had sex or masturbated.
So its a myth, unfounded in reality, and anyone who wants to see what no masturbation is like can go and do it and see for themselves.

On that note masturbation as an activity is seen as degrading culturally, and I discussed why I personally think that is the cased on few ocations.

Your facts are entirely made up. There might be someone who claims this but it's absurd there is no way to prove that regardless of what some unethical so-called
historian might say. This along with the myth that masturbation is common amongst animals is another modern-day lie about wanking.

As for your being distracted by sexual thoughts my own experience is the opposite of yours and biology also contradicts you. Try for 90 days next time, lol. Everybody who wanks always comes up with the claim that they get to horny if they don't or it's blue balls, but that is not how your body works. Use it or lose it. When you wank your [ even more so than with regular sex according to some science for whatever that is worth] your testosterone converts to DHT which is the byproduct of testosterone that makes you horny. The more you wank the hornier you get and this affects your brain as well. If you abstain and that also includes porn and fantasies eventually the desire for it will go away.

You are not that virile no one is. There are athletes and bodybuilders who take more testosterone than you would find in a male elephant and some of these exogenous testosterones have enhanced androgenic qualities. Your horniness is due to habit and mostly due to your brain both of which can be changed.

I will point out to that having an erection doesn't mean you are horny. I often wake up with an erection and sex or wanking is the last thing on my mind. When a teen I could be sitting down and having an erection out of the blue and think nothing of it, it's just kind of an annoyance.

  20. So let me examine your point of view:
    General public experience is wrong
Medical understanding of masturbation is wrong
    Biology has it wrong
    History has is wrong
    My personal experience is wrong
    My "facts" are wrong
Noone understands how human body works sexually
Understanding of animal sexuality is also wrong

Riveting.... I am guessing you are the only one that got it right.

If you have factual evidence to support your point of view - please show.

Although, you have a huge bias about this topic, which undermines any opportunity for rational discussion.
