This may seem like a dumb question but personally i dont see masturbation as a bad thing as long as it is not over done, as long as there is no use of porn during masturbation as well as no ejaculating. I believe it can be used to beat premature ejaculation and develop control and an understanding of the body, Im also aware that its no good to fantasize about porn which is why I usually just look at pictures of beautiful women when masturbating but try to use my imagination as much as possible without fantasizing about porn.. So my question is, if my main goals are to never watch porn again and to try and retain my semen as long as possible, would it still be harmful to my 100 day reboot if i just masturbated every now and then without porn and without ejaculation ? Would this impact my reboot in any way or should I just go strictly without masturbation for the rest of my reboot ? Ofcourse I will try to not masturbate at all but yesterday and the day before, the urge hit and I masturbated but without porn and without ejaculation. I have not reset my counter as my main goals of retaining semen and not watching porn were not broken. Please guys, answers to my question would be appreciated

In my honest opinion I believe you shouldn't masturbate. There's a reason we all get that guilty feeling right after busting a nut so I wouldn't implement masturbating. Also, are you suffering from any addiction related symptoms such as PIED, desensitization, brain fog ect? If so, even to a minor extent you shouldn't be touching yourself; any nut that you bust should be with a sex partner. This website is Nofap lol so don't fap bro, find yourself a women and release through her not from fantasy, software porn ect. The fact that you're asking this question says that you really want to but remain strong and stick with the process.

Yes it is, edging without P still spikes dopamine. Actually, any arousing fantasy will spike dopamine. The less you can jack off and fantasize, the better. You're better off going straight to orgasm than edging, because edging keeps your dopamine spiked. There's no cut-off.

What if someone spontaneously texts me and I get precum as a reaction? Is that a full blown relapse? I know that's not healthy for a reboot, but does that reaction just completely restart a streak?

  5. Do you mind explaining to me why a dopamine spike is bad? Isn’t it dopamine that keeps us happy?

  6. What exactly is brain fog?

Our brains have a natural level of dopamine. In a normal situation you experience pleasure/fun/enjoyment at that natural level of dopamine and so on. When you edge, watch porn/become addicted you're constantly spiking that dopamine higher and higher so eventually you need more and more dopamine to feel pleasure/fun/enjoyment, in essence this you're desensitizing your pleasure response. What used to be pleasurable/fun is now dull and can no longer stimulate you. So this is why many of us feel like shit during withdrawals and experience "brain fog"- which in layman's terms is when you've exhausted your motor neurons from constant orgasms, your dopamine tolerance is too high so when you quit pmo you're no longer getting that rush, and a combination of cognitive impairment such as weaken memory, less ability to focus, loss of drive and motivation ect.
