    It's generally taken to exclude 'involuntary' ejaculation (i.e. wet dreams). But people set their own rules, of course.

    Generally not. For most people the exercise is about treating addiction and compulsive behaviour, not with the body's 'natural'/involuntary processes.

    But I don't know too much about the 'semen retention' aspect.
