How to quell fantasising?

    Sometimes when half asleep, I'll find myself in an erotic fantasy. Any tips on how to control those?

    Only when you're half asleep? That's a good sign - you're not daydreaming during waking physical reality.

    I suppose integrating meditation into your daily practice can help. That way you stay conscious and lucid even in sleeping states. In sleeping / half-sleeping states it's easier to let inertia carry us to places we don't want to be.

    Yes, so far it's going okay. (Two weeks.) But there may be changes, for last month for the first time ever, I tried to drown my chronic pain with a tonne of porn watching, even without intention to fap. And after two weeks my interest just *died* and has not really surfaced yet. Perhaps it was the shock of that which made me decide to finally go on reboot. Well, to be frank I almost could not do anything anyway.
    And so, whenever the dingdong wakes up, I may have problems, who knows.
