Been fapping non stop since Nov 3rd, after a 72 day streak, and now I wondder if there is any point anymore to nofap. Like, why start when I've already lost so much? I used to beat myself down even after a wet dream , and I just fapped 6 times in a row 10 minutes ago. I just dont think I have it in me anymore. I dont think so.

Sometimes things can seem impossibly my friend but we cant give up! You already did over 2 months and thats great, try to find out what went wrong today.

The best thing you can do for yourself right now is not beat yourself up too much and get right back on the horse.

you can do it man keep dont give up

You know, everyone says that, but how can I? How can we simply forget the past and work towrads the present? The consequences of our actions are still in effect, and my concern is that I dont know how to address them...

The goal is not to forget the past, it is to learn from it. Thats how progress is made in anything.

I would start by just trying to work things out. Trying is better than nothing and if you keep going eventually you will start to figure things out. This is not easy and requires a lot of work but ultimately it is worth it

You only fail when you quit trying to quit. You had a great streak going and you relapsed. Ok. Everyone here has gone through that a lot. I get it. Quitting sucks. It’s hard. Frankly it’s a fucking nightmare. But being a slave to fapping is much more so.

I know your feeling man. I was having trouble maintaining my streak when I fapped in november after 90 days...

? How can we simply forget the past and work towards the present?

Remember PAST does not equal to FUTURE. Stay in the present and take one day at a time. It sure is tough but no use crying over spilled milk...

  8. I'm feeling like that a bit - Day 11 after a 2.5 year relapse. It's hard.

But I've almost certainly cost myself my relationship of 10 years with an amazing woman, the future we had, our house, our potential children - everything.

    Please keep trying :)

  9. I will take a confrontational approach here and tell you that you won't see any point to doing Nofap alone. It's up to you to make changes to your life as you go through your NoFap journey. You don't see a point, because you have not looked or tried to change anything else apart from Nofap.

For example, during my longest streaks, I would incorporate other changes like running daily, etc. Nofap simply gave me the motivation and will to do things I normally wouldn't of.

As for answering your issue about looking to your past, that entirely depends on the person. I look at my past for lessons and things I can change. If I was an addict for 10 years, that would mean I would want to not make the situation worse anymore, therefore the past problems and issues motivate me to change and become better.

Thanks gents. I'll try, but my life is so spent already. I just hope to see some reason to keep going on in the future.
