damn i wish i was like some of these moer's being a p addict makes things so much harder. I love the female form and its hard for me to not want to look at it...even if i am not pleasuring myself.. I am wondering how bad it is to look at p subs ..maybe even the occasional P,,if you are never even touching yourself or edging? how bad is it?

It is likely to delay your healing (the rewiring of the neural pathways)!

    Do you have a partner/Gf/Bf?

    Porn itself releases dopamine.

Very dopamine releasing. Don't go there. You need to starve your system to let it rebalance properly. The fact that you love the female form is already an indication that your dopamine is being released.

I'll even go as far as saying that you don't even need to actually SEE anything in order for dopamine to be released. The other day I had a moment of weakness and I decided to start searching for triggering material. I stopped before I was ever exposed to anything but I could still feel the rush surging in my body that something pleasurable was about to occur and my addiction was coming back to life.

When we had that P attack the other week and I saw the P -- I got a huge shot of dopamine and my heart started racing! Just looking at it causes a dopamine rush, and it was powerful and oh so familiar. BUT, I moved on, I didn't allow it to be an excuse to relapse, besides, that feeling was controlling and there was no way I was going back to P controlling me!

    Stay strong.

To answer an above question. Yes I am currently active with a partner, usually twice a week. Hard mode is out of the question.

I am going to not look at p or p subs, that being said I run a blog that I feature fitness and one part of fitness is spandex and nice....I have a very slow que for the one blog that I truly care about so I think I am capable of not viewing pixels of women and still running the blog...as of now few people actually contact me. I have an addictive personality so blogging about fitness has become one of my vices on my quest to rid myself of my P addiction. Is it ok to have a dopamine rush from sports betting or poker, or even just getting more followers on my blog?

Me starting to think that this dopamine rush business is addictive. I wonder what are healthy non-indulgent activities that generate happiness for ourselves and others? Watching porn does not seem to be one!

Are the pictures vital for you? You could turn those off using something like google chrome (you'll be the only not able to view them). Top right corner of google chrome browser it should say something like "Adjust and control google chrome" --> Settings --> Show advanced settings (bottom) --> Content settings --> Don't show images

I hope you'll find this useful. I use it myself and it works extremely well for me.

  9. I've also fallen into the edging trap (just look at my counter lol) and like the other's said: Just don't go there, its difficult at first because you don't what the boundaries are (are girls in skins/shorts ok or not)
But the whole point of shutting it all out is to allow your brain to rebalance first then to see which stimulae are Ok.
Its impossible to not look at stimulating images all the time lol, but I think the idea of rebooting is to allow to view those images once it's healed and isn't being influenced by PMO.

Exercise. Art. Literature. Healthy relationships with another person (where you are not objectifying them). I think all of these are healthy activities.

would you think I need to limit p subs if i have been able to finish with a women 3 times over the last two nights? I mean its not as strong as it could be but I think that I am not in need of a reboot because I am not really experiencing ED. What do all of you think?

  13. Firstly, congrats :) As for P subs, It could be a way of your brain trying to goad you into PMO. If you're able to finish with a woman, why use P at all?

I do not use P. I do not consider it using P subs if I am not edging or M'ing.
