So i’m close to hitting a month (28 days). however since the last 10 days or so i have been watching A LOT of porn (but not relapsing). I feel like i’ve lost my benefits and my streak. Should I reset my streak and relapse to get rid of this overwhelming sexual frustration and blue balls. Or should is my streak still alive and should I continue? If i relapsed by watching porn i might as well jerk off and clear my mind. Help!

When first starting I actually also had the same problem but it’s definately better if you stop porn all together.
Remember porn is more of a problem the masturbation!

    goodluck bro

Aye, apparently if you feel that the downsides are coming back it means there were dopamine rush(es) from all the p*rn you were watching.

So the blue balls effect is at the third stage, i failed around there many times too. But remembering what made you start nofap, and using emergency.nofap.com helped me a lot until today. I'm currently pushing and at the flatlining stage. It's a good thing to keep your progress in check too, but at the same time don't get obsessed over it. Just be aware of what is going on so it doesn't take you by shock.

Here is a website that shows the 6 stages of recovery for fapstronauts. *NOT SPAM* www. SPAM REMOVED - REPORT TO MODERATION. com/stop-porn/list-of-stages/

I'm not sure of this but apparently it seems like a relapse since the side effects of PMO kicked in so it's best to reset counter. And of course, don't find excuses to relapse as your brain is already rewired in the wrong way, addicted to dopamine rushes you get from PMO, the culprit behind mainly P.

Here is another website, which states what happens when you view p*rn and how it rewires your brain. https://www.yourbrainonporn.com

I wish you all the best bro, stay strong and fight on :)

Does the porn feel good or bad? That may be useful data for you to notice, experience and remember. Lots of ideas will probably come up, no need to pay them much attention at least that's been my experience. Just a simple yes or no about did the porn feel good ,from a clear calm place inside your self. Then what to do will be obvious to you without really needing others for such simple decisions. I need others for a lot of help, advice and empathy but not on whether to do these things. Of course each person is different but that different answer is inside, you just back up a few steps and look at it from a bigger perspective for yourself. Probably you have the most data on yourself as a unique person and can put your own joy top of mind as the guiding light in asking the big questions.

Watching porn is a relapse. Any seeking out of images or videos is setting you back, in my opinion searching for anything to so with your addiction on purpose is a relapse.

Only watching porn and not jerking off is a big success to acquire, well done. Many, if not most people on this forum can't do that. You learned self-control by looking at those videos and not touching yourself. You realized that you are the one who decides what happens next, not porn.
Of course it's even better when you don't look at porn at all. But small steps will get you to your goal faster than trying to rush things.

Just remember this: What your brain is trying to do is break your will by exposing you to a lot of porn videos so that you eventually give in. You're looking for that one video that is just too hot to resist. And eventually you'll find it. So be aware of that and try to watch as little as possible. And definitely keep your hands off your dick. Despite what other people say, not jerking off to porn but watching it is not the same as a proper relapse.
