30 Day Fapstronaut But New Forum User

Discussion in 'New to NoFap' started by Deleted Account, Jan 16, 2020.

  1. Hello everybody. I'm very eager to have this opportunity to interact with many of you on this forum. Allow me to introduce myself.

I'm an 18 year old male who is currently taking a year off from school to explore my interests. I used to PMO about once or twice a day. I can't exactly remember how long I've been PMOing but I can tell that it's been a pretty long time. I suffered from depression and social anxiety and I believe most of it was caused from this addiction.

It's been 30 days since I've started avoiding PMO (December 17, 2019) and I feel so much better! I'll elaborate on my progress in the appropriate section.

But anyway, while it has been 30 days and I am very much proud of what I accomplished, it's not over yet. I'm aiming to shoot for 90 days and as I see it, I'm going to need some support which is why I've decided to join this forum just now.

Once again, I'm very much looking forward to talking with many of you as we go through this journey together. Thank you.

  2. Have you ever heard the story of a father taking his child to the park. He shows him all the bums, the hi get people, the crazy people, the sad people. He says work hard in school and life. I love you. I don't want this to be you.....?

Allow this forum and others who WERE you, but never stopped to be that image. Here you'll find sexual abuse, sexual dysfunction, behavioral disorders, confidence problems, etc. This could be your future. Or not, man. Choice is yours.

I'm a financial counselor by trade. I give people information, not advice. They often say....I wish I knew that 20 years ago. Let this forum be that advice. Let experience speak and you listen. Take it all in. Getting porn, and masturbation out of your life is a true and huge blessing and accomplishment. Im proud of you just for accepting that there's a better version of you. Make that guy a reality. Good luck.

    I wish you strength.

This is so well put. Some of us have spent more than your young lifespan enslaved to what we thought was harmless fun, as it insidiously destroyed dreams, relationships, careers...

There are thousands of people here talking about very difficult things. We don’t all have the same perspectives, beliefs, experiences or goals. But we have come to a common realization than porn use is really damaging on many levels. These forums provide valuable insight and I hope that you are able to put it to action while you still have so much to experience in life.
