Nice one lol. Just a couple hundred more, and we can co-publish a punny PMO joke book!
Someone turned to me the other day and said 'Jerk!' and I said no, not for 90 days! :emoji_upside_down:

It’s been a very busy week, but I haven’t felt the need to PMO. I find I am slightly more sensitive to any content that is even mildly erotic, but other than that, it’s smooth sailing. I found that focusing on actively reviving my love life helps.

for those who don’t know- I’m married with two small kids. I find that lack of intimacy can lead to resentment and I figured I might as well be proactive here. Since I am not fapping, I can’t ignore it anymore

Checking-in day 50! Been quite busy the last two weeks. Overall, P thoughts have decreased. However, flashbacks from my past sexual encounters are still happening throughout the day, which is a trigger for me. Noticing those thoughts has given me power over the sensations. For example, I say "I notice that I am thinking about ...." I gain clarity at that moment. I continue repeating that until I get distracted by something else. This tool is one of many tools that I am using to overcome this addiction.

For any PA's interested in having someone to talk to, check in with and a safe place to talk about all things recovery... my husband @Wade W. Wilson, 36 yrs old - who has been in real recovery for almost two years now (will be two years on Jan 29th), has created a dedicated Discord channel for PA's, all are welcome to join and he is looking forward to getting to know each of you. You can join the channel by clicking this link: https://discord.gg/gXPuU9q

Especially if you are looking for accountability in real-time or an AP. I vouch for him.

What do you call a guy who plays the flute, loves rodents, and has trouble performing sexually because of porn?

I really don’t like this post in our thread.

I don’t like posts from anyone not in our group, or looking to join our group.

Good luck as you try other places and keep up the good fight.

  9. Look for the "update day counter" link at the top of the page.

  10. I'm not sure that is appropriate for this group. ;)

Not a problem, understood, was just trying to let others know about more accountability options, as a betrayed wife, the more the PA puts in and utilizes all resources - the better. Wasn't looking on stepping on anyone's toes, feel free to remove the post.

    Good luck in your journeys.

  12. Glad to hear you are supportive of your husband in this struggle. The destructive effects of porn on marriage and relationships in our society can't be overstated. Good luck to you both.

Thank you, 2 years ago on I told him we were done and I had to stay [pretending everything was fine] for our daughter's sake for another year or so, in that time he actually took everything seriously, changed everything, and that ended up saving our marriage.

Good luck to you too :)

ok, reached a week and all calm. some occasional triggers but as @Pirate3819 does so well, I have forced my self to notice a trigger as a concious thing, not one that is unconcious or just thinking "that's just what I do".

Still checking in though. That’s not giving up and that’s the start of a good foundation imo.

Sunday - traditionally a tricky day for me (easier to PM) because of the 'back to work' feeling creeping up. Been to the gym and feel good for that. Just need to hold it together....
