28 days no PMO. Thought it would be good to try to have sex with someone.

I went on a hookup app, not trying to see nudity photos, but realized I was looking at “sexy” photos (no nudity) of people for almost 5 mins straight. Click after click. I feel very different after this and I feel like this is a reset.

    Is it?

  2. I'd stop doing that as it'll give you a dopamine hit, whether women have barely any clothes or they're nude, it's the same stuff essentially and you're looking to heal your dopamine pathways with abstention. I wouldn't count that as a reset if it really was 5 minutes, but would think of it as a bad warning sign since your brain is craving for dopamine. I'd uninstall the app and try to stay away from electronic devices for the rest of the day as you're triggered right now.

  4. It's not the same as porn, but it's still a bad habit and if you keep continuing to do that your recovery will take longer and most likely you will relapse as your brain will crave more. Keep on doing what you've done for four weeks already and forget the whole incident. It's dwelling on the matter that will cause more harm than good. Good luck!

No you don't have to reset your counter. If it was just 5 minutes, that is edging but don't do it anymore. That can lead to PMO, dopamine rush, potential relapse and slower recovery.
