What is your experience with it? Did it reduce your libido? Though Im not saying that's a good or bad thing either.

Did it also reduce your anxiety?

I was on prozac for long time and think it actually affected my dopamine addiction.

Its hard to know for sure but i would guess that it would certainly have some sort of impact on recovery. My suggestion would be to avoid SSRI's and recover naturally

yeah those neuron pathways are constantly firing and making new connections because the excess seratonin is not being reuptaken by the transmitters they are only allowed to float around until they are absorbed by a receptor.

I think that the sexual affects of SSRIs are more extreme in women than in men, just in my experience of talking to different people who have been on SSRIs. As for myself, I don't think I ever really noticed a difference. I have been on zoloft on and off for the last six years. More on than off, and at 200mg and sometimes more.

Hey man, Zoloft freak here too. I def. need a SSRI ad to maintain my anxieties controlled. Like you, on and off. I'm currently experimenting with a dosage of 25 mg, which most would call 'sub-therapeutical', but I'm feeling there could be value even in doses below 50mg for anxiety and depression. What do you think?

I think the final say should be from a doctor or psychiatrist (of course) but I have felt effects on doses as low as 25mg. That was the first time I took it of course, but it was surprising how well and fast it worked, even though it is supposed to take up to 8 weeks to take full effect I noticed effects within the first hour.

Anxiety and depression usually call for lower doses than OCD calls for, which is what I take it for. What I would say is if it works for you, it works for you.
