Two weeks into my second serious attempt. Day 15!

Feeling quite well. My urges are getting weaker. They’re still there, but easier to ignore. Let’s see how that develops.

    I can do this!

don´t think in streak terms bro. the counting is just to boost motivation. don´t mind what day you´re in, what matters is to live well this day and don´t pmo. this is not a war that has an end on day XYZ. no, this is a continous daily battle.

just care for this day: live well and no pmo. Let´s go!!!

and you will, but at the same time it´s good to raise your defenses bro. Yes, the porn blockers can be override. yes, there are things that they don´t catch, but what matters is that they difficult your acess to porn! and that´s what matters. remember that lot´s of relapses happen out of automatic circunstances: urges + boredom + easy access = relapse.

that´s why is good to have the blockers, not just the blockers, but all kinds of defenses: laptops with screen facing exposure, usage of eletronic devices in common areas of the house, doors open, no mobile in the room at night, etc etc... make your plan bro. make it accurate.

when you make it harder for the addiction, you gain 2 things:

1 - it will be harder for you to go autopilot.
2 - you´re giving a clear signal to the addiction that you´re really commited in the reboot and you won´t slack no matter what.

don´t trust willpower brother, willpower comes and goes. trust your habits, trust your discipline. that´s what will make you win.

  15. Somehow missed posting yesterday so this is for the past 2 days.

Day 25/90 No PM (ends April 8)

    Day 130 weight training (M, W, F)
    Day 32 No alcohol
    Day 23 No desserts

    - had a few too many drinks with my son last night paying beer pong
    - almost relapsed as a result after everyone went to bed and I was alone in the living room with my devices
    - should have known better to leave devices alone when drunk but at least no PMO to report as I was saved by my wife who called me to come to bed
    -your brother in this struggle
