I’m 23 y/o, I was exposed to porn at a very young age by some older friends (I was perhaps 9yrs old). I have watched porn as long as I remember, I didn’t realise about the negative impact I had on my life until about 17 and that is when I first started trying to quit, the longest streak I’ve been on is probably 8 months, I can frequently make it 1-3 months but tend to always relapse and relapse hard. I’m hoping support from other people going through the same thing will help me.
    so uh, hello!

What’s up! Same as you.. I’m only 20now and I’m suffering from severe erectile dysfunction fortunately I always had a warrior mindset and I don’t seem to give up on myself even tho I relapsed like at least 100 times in 5 months .. but the beauty of it is with every relapse I realized that I need to get my shit together and fight harder. Today in a better man ( I’m still in recovery mode and haven’t reached 90 days yet ) but I’m a 100% better than I was couple months ago and I’m only pushing forward. Keep pushing!

Congrats on pushing yourself dude, yeah I suffered from erectile disfunction the first time I had a sexual experience with a girl, when I was 14. It was horrifically embarrassing, fortunately had not happened since. But dude if that’s not a major push to keep you on track, then it fucking should be

Congratulations on your successful period (1-3 months). If you can, think deeply about what was happening during your relapses. A critical part of my turn away from PMO was to realize what was happening to me and why I was turning to porn.

Deep down, I never really believed that watching porn hurt anyone else. Now, I have come to understand that porn harms everyone involved. The porn stars are used, taken advantage of, and often carry STDs. I am hurt by porn, since it closes me off to others and is fundamentally selfish. Porn does not display true love, but only a crude expression of carnal passion. Couples who really love each other do not use each other as objects as in a porn video.

A boy selfishly masturbates, thinking only of himself. A man thinks of others and can deny himself for a greater good.

These were the insights that motivated me to make a permanent change. I hope you find your own motivation and your own reason for giving up PMO permanently.

True that! Man it literally strips you out of your manhood like bro I’d rather die then live less than a man personally.. I always had high values, manly values, warrior type mindset and still found myself binging on that sissy hypno crap. So you can only imagine how I feel. I was so depressed and lonely that I ended up breaking up with the girl of my dreams, she always supported me and was there for me but I picked lust over a true relationship and guess where that lead me.. I started hooking up left and right till I caught a nice little infection loll and it took me a while t heal from it but still suffering from pied. Long story short, it’s never too late to do good and make the best out of what you have btw I’m only 20 turning 21. Keep pushing everyone, cheers!
