Can anyone tell me how you combat a sudden great urge to fap.
And please tell me the chronology of reducing fap urges from passing time.please.

    Welcome to the community!

I have not had a major urge to fap since I started participating in this community 45 days ago. So that is my method. I participate here. Other people may find it necessary to get away from the computer or the environment that makes fapping easy to do. Go for a drive or a ride. Take up a new language, a new sport, or a musical instrument. Something to change the routine of comfort that allows us to shut ourselves away from the world and into our world of illusion.
I'm not sure I understand what you are asking exactly, but let me take a stab at it. What happened to me is in no way typical. I think I had it fairly easy. I hope others will chime in with their experiences.

    - The first few days were pretty easy. I did feel a bit nervous about having a setback and if I was doing the right things.

    - I can easily go without PMO for two weeks, but at that point I started to crave real women. I started to even think about finding a really sexy hooker and having my way with her. But after finding a FWB to be with, I realized that I still had porn-induced erectile dysfunction (PIED) which is the reason I want to stop PMO in the first place. This was because my reboot was not complete and I did not yet understand what was going on. Reading more here in the community made me understand what was happening.

    - Then I entered what's called "flatline". This is when the brain shuts down pretty much all feelings of sexual urge. But it's a trap. If you go trying to find out if the pipes still work or if you can still get aroused, then BAM! You fall right back in.

    - Then after that point things start to normalize a bit. I am feeling some of the benefits of recovery (such as less likelihood of PIED and an urge to be with my wife and not the women I see on porn). But I know I'm not quite there yet. If I come across a sexy image (not even nude) I get a sudden urge to close the window or to move away. I don't yet see it entirely as a normal image. That's a clear sign that I still need to keep my distance.

    I hope that helps.

    Be strong!

I'm not quite sure when it started to happen because at that time I didn't really know what it was. Most people seem to find that it happens after a few days and lasts a few weeks or even months. This is dependent on how long and badly you've been addicted. I'm out of it now because I have good urges to be with my wife and I've been able to perform very well with her so far. Don't worry about it too much, though. Just continue with your journey.
