Yes, definitely help. It may not cure them all but abstaining from porn will definitely be a strong part of turning your life around.

Removing porn from your life will definitely bring improvements however be aware that it might be the drug that masks the problems more. Once you remove porn you may still struggle with those problems but you’ll be better able to start working on them.

  5. No, it matches perfectly condition called chronic depression, where if you let it stay unmanned it leads to suicide.
So talk to your doctor and come up with a plan.

Well, i can relate to you in some ways. Although i'm not gaining weight, i also lack energy and experience social anxiety due to lack of confidence around others. Not to mention the relationship problems i have struggled with in the past weeks, including cheating on my GF when i was drunk and horny.

I started NoFap around 10 days ago and i already feel that i have more energy and i'm more comfortable in social situations. Also quit social media, alcohol and other triggers that cause unwanted behaviour.

So YES, i do think stopping PMO can help you get back on track. The influence of PMO on your brain can be that you become less focused, less energized in your daily life and that affects your confidence.

When you don't want to go anywhere, it can be because of the influence of dopamine on your brain. PMO releases so much dopamine, that you don't feel like doing something else, cause nothing is more exiting than staying at home watching P or pics on Instagram. Not saying that's the thing in your case. But that definitely been the case for me in the the last decade(s).

All these things combined can cause depression so i'd consider seeing a professional, if you feel depressed. That's something i also started doing a few months back (before i discovered NoFap). And although i'm still at the beginning of my journey, i'm greatfull that i found this site. That gave me a lot of insight. I'm 33 now and wish i discovered this 10 years ago.

Can't say it's not hard, but i try to gain strength out of the hard moments where i feel the urge to M. Hopefully it will do the same for you!

I think abstaining will help, but I personally believe that establishing a regular intense workout routine will work wonders for you as well. It raises confidence and self esteem, not to mention physical health.

Nofap will most likely help you, but be aware it is not a skeleton key for your problems, there are several other things you should be doing that are important in improving your self.

Love that idea that it’s not a skeleton key. Totally agree. I personally feel that once I stop looking at porn I get clarity to see where I need work. Porn just masks it al for me until life is too unbearable to carry on in the cycle.
