It is totally possible. I'm a living example that it is possible. You are not powerless over this addiction. Best of luck to you!

I read every single word of this and it’s absolutely amazing. Congratulations to you first of all and I hope to conquer this addiction and experience life through a revitalized perspective. A lot of the things you talked about rang so true to me especially about the things I’d learned about sex from porn and the feelings of shame holding me back. I really just want to say you’re a true inspiration!

    Wow congratulations.
I read that too frequent wet dreams can be a bad sign —related to the kidneys or something like that.
    Nice
    That's really a bliss, I must accept.
Then maybe it taught you wrong ideas...
I know what you mean. I guess that if you are generous with your partner, and passionate, both will be happy regardless of the duration.

I'm glad you got so much out of it. I hope there was something in my post that resonates with everyone.

Yeah, I remember when I started realizing just how much porn had taught me about sex. The nice thing I'm discovering is that it can be un-learned and replaced with a healthier, more balanced understanding of sex. It just takes time and self-reflection.

Don't just hope to conquer this addiction. Conquer it one day at a time - one moment at a time. You can do this!

No problem. I'm happy to share my experiences with others. As I mentioned, this community helped me so much when I was struggling badly, and I want to give back.

Eh, I'm not concerned about it. It's not happening that frequently. It happens maybe twice a month maximum, but that's definitely more than when it was happening to me when I was going through puberty. I appreciate the heads up on that, though.

Oh, porn taught me "wrong ideas" about sex without a doubt. Porn is not an accurate representation of sex at all, and makes a terrible teacher. It's a video which captures some of the physical aspects of sex, but it's so far flung from the real thing that I'd call it a mockery. In my opinion, the best teacher for sex is experience. Good sex requires communication, trust, and respect between partners.

I think the proper duration for sex is primarily a matter of communication between partners. It's important to understand where you're at and where your partner is at so you can enjoy an experience together.

5-6 months no P right now and also want to no M til married(M-ed or sex by wife after married ofc), i hope i can be like you. The reason i quit PMO (M is the worse case for me) is i want to have a healthy sex and lasted longer. P really a bad teacher, i remembered my first foreplay with my ex gf. it's completely different than in P video i watched, like communication you wrote in this thread. We both enjoyed it, even my ex get an O by just a foreplay, i feel like a man (a real man makes her panties wet, not her eyes)

That's great that you've made it 5 months without porn. Continue your success going forward. Porn is definitely a bad teacher. It's a sad mockery of the real experience of sex.

yes, right now i am more focused to no MO, even my doctor said my body still changed(adapting) physiologically and pshycologically caused by no PMO. Transition from sexually active(trough M) to sexually passive has a cost lul. Expecting wet dream this month because my horniness skyrocketing(15 days no MO) ejaculating after peeing become rare now(due to kegel training i think).

Multivitamin, sport and no PMO really did a good repairment.

    Thanks for your detailed response.
I don't want to alarm you, but I would be mildly concerned about that, honestly. I have had only one wet dream in almost 8 months. As I said, from what I read, too many wet dreams may be related to some kidney deficiency/insufficiency/malfunction.

Better consult to andrologist or urologist about it if concerned

I almost cried with the goodbye dude. I feel proud for you. Blessings. (And thank you, I wrote a few things down of what you wrote).

  18. Porn is all about acting. The camera just make it something like believable. The effects, the angles, the shots, the positions all are made to stimulate the viewers mind. I went to try some of the positions with females back in my fapping day, I failed. lol...
Back when I first watch porn in my teenage year, I thought the females really enjoy getting jacked from the sounds they make. But it was all fake from acting...

Thank you bro, the big notice i experienced is waking up horny craving a real sex. Rather than craving a PMO
