reporting YouTube adult videos to youtube is it ok?

Are you trying to help people, or find porn that is "ok to look at"?

I'm not saying this is subconscious, but I wonder if this I getting the fix your brain wants with "No, it's fine - I'm doing a good thing!". I've been in a similar situation myself in the past. And you'll still be getting a dopamine rush from searching for videos, regardless of intent.

Personally, I'd stay away from this. If you see s video then report it, but actively looking for them feels like a bad idea.

 

Hope you've not relapsed, but if you have it's now on your radar.

This shit is cunning. It looks for ways to survive and squirms round the defenses you build.

 

There are so many videos. Which ones will you report?
You'll get exhausted.

 

What sort of adult videos on YT? Didn't think there were any.

I thought YT were strict and didn't allow stuff like that? Soft porn, etc?

 

They tend to be, but stiff will always slip through, or not be reported.

And it hardly had to be what you'd see on a mainstream site, or even be particularly hardcore, for it to be problematic.

 

nah just stay away from it

by watching it you give youtube chance to offering that video to some one else through their alogaritme or something

not to mention you will binge and chance to relapse is high

and even if u report it, its like cutting hydra head...you cut off one head, two will grow...its such a waste of time

just focus on your journey , be a great example for other by overcome the porn...it will be better for you and people around you

 

You have to be careful with even just being on YouTube in the first place. It can be adult videos, or just a new Pussycat Doll music video that can be triggering. It can even be the act of just scrolling through YouTube aimlessly . That scrolling can kick in your acting out. Because I know for me, that scrolling for videos trying to find the best video to watch was the exact behavior I had with porn websites

 

I do the same. And I know it’s just a way to trick my mind into thinking I’m doing good but I’m not.

 

why do you act like that man? I mean there is still people who watch porn sometimes , people who dont have a problem with porn adiccition.

 

I'd dispute the last bit, honestly. I'm not sure where the line is but I know I didn't know if crossed it until I had.

 

Such people are not present on the forums. It's usually a last resort to admit that porn addiction is your problem. So almost all users who come here are addicts and realise that it's fkng up their lifestyles. A small minority belongs to the curious semen retention kind.

 

if he does not want to watch porn anymore , it is ok but why would he report the videos on internet? let other people watch porn if they want lol
