My new life

    I am new here and i want share some things what i've had in these couple years.
    I started this process about two years ago and i'm still on the same way all the time stronger.
    It was hard when i started it and i had to try it many times. But after some weeks it was all the time easier. I just decided it wouldn't happen never again - (go back to my old life). I had day counter but my old phone gone broken so i don't have it anymore but yes, i started two years ago in christmas.
    Now about 710 days later i hate porn, any sexual stuffs, masturbation, sex etc. I don't just want them anymore because i see how harm full these things can are. I am a single young man and i don't have any problems or pressures with these things. I am a busy person and i have many interests for example nature, photographing, my garage, cars and machines, eating healthy etc.
    I eat really really healthy and i don't use any drugs, sugar, alcohol etc... Also i avoid listening music too much because it can make feeling little same than for example porn. But sometimes music could be really good if you have some pressures or you are sad. Or for example need better inspiration of doing something... But not too often.
    About one month ago before sleeping i had very very strong urge about first time in this process and i just opened my phone and checked my favorite porn film after two years. Yes, unbelievable mistake i know that. I don't know what it was. I was just edging and it was fast over. But after that i have not had any bad feelings so we can see how well my brains are rebooted in two years. Also after that i haven't felt any urges or wanted doing that again. So i think it was just my brains own test in this process and it wasn't so harmful.
    I decided that before i started if i have urges i do for example some sports or meditation. Sometimes i did them in the beginning of this process but because i don't have anymore strong urges it's not so important. But of course sport is always good for you and you have better chances now and in a future if you do sports what you like.
    In this process is very important to close everything bad things what makes you feel some pleasure for example all drugs, sugar, any sexual stuff etc. Because your brains can easily cheat you. You must just have ''good'' interests for example some sport and healthy food. With this way you can much easily feel better. It is hard first but when you learn it you are really proud of it.
    I recommend also for you do some crazy stuff for example taking cold showers, going walk to dark forest etc. Because it is important to get out sometimes from the ''comfort zone''. Every addiction is a sign of anxiety.
    In the beginning of this process i tried to avoid using phone and computer because these objects can remember me from porn. Also it is important to not use phone before going sleeping. I leave my phone over 2 m away from my bed so i must always get off from the bed if i want use it. And in the morning it is also easier wake up if you want shut off your alarm for example. But as i said these tips can be help full in your starting journey. You must find your own ways what works just for you. If i can live sexual free life and drugs free life you can too! Everything just starts from your brain. Don't give them a chance to cheat you! :)

    Well done for your interesting journey, you've achieved so much in nofap and self-discipline. I was just wondering if you really believe sex is harmful, within a relationship for example.

    I liked everything in the story except the bit about sex being harmful. It's somewhat concerning that you present as asexual now.

    Or have I got that wrong ?

    I like your post.
    I agree with you on Excercise and also that anxiety is the root cause of addiction.
    Are there any other desciplines?

  10. Well man sex is not that healthy, especially if you do it regularly. I recently watched a video on YT of 105 years old man who got married at 45 years of age(I think in those times people had sex only after marriage and not before). He also liked sports and was doing all kinds of sports. Also, studies show that people live longer without sex.

    Thank you very much. Yeah. There is for sure many other desciplines too as breathwork. For me it is not maybe been in so "high stage" but I have thinked it also. It is good to breath always like it style just you feel relaxed. When there is anxious it's easy to breath with mouth but i don't recommend it. Always better breath from the nose. It's also better to try relax the mind and centralize/focus that how to get back to the right way and balance. One what I used was to breath in from nose and out from the mouth. It can makes you feel a bit more relaxed when need it.
    The second big thing is again the food. I don't know can these tips help any other but i have got help. I am balanced my energy levels with right food. I eat almost all the time "clean" i mean no processed food. I try avoid for example additives, sugar and starch + Milk products. Well, and also gluteine. The carbohydrates can make you feel more tired. And it can more easily get you maybe think "bad things". That's why it's good centralize always for good things just like high guality food and sports. You must stay sharply. Eat much vegetables and high guality proteins + oils. Also i use some dietary supplement (D and C vitamin) + high quality probiotes. The gut is our second brains.
    I tried also the Cbd oil. Maybe i should have to choose the higher quality oil. But it helped me to sleep deeper and it relaxed me a little bit also. I tested it so short time so it's hard to analyze deeper yet.
    If you feel some things make you feel foggy (just like porn ofcourse) i recommend to stop it.
    You need to get done things what you had to do and what is good for you. For example if you can stop porn but still sit on the computer full day i think it's not the goal but of course 100% better than porn or any sexual stuff. Think how you can get things done better and better. Analyze your doing. Use your time effectively. Help others. And do everything things just as Well as you can.
    I know some times it is hard to start doing something but when you get it done - Yeah wow. You just want get done more and more.
    Some times when i had some urges or some things didn't gone so well and i felt sad or angry.
    I shouted and tried to get angry feelings out for example hitted the pillows or something like that. Because it is very bad if these feelings leaves inside of you. If you have negative things inside you it makes also nofap harder because your brains try to cheat you more easily get pleasure if you're angry or sad for example. That's why you need always get out the negative things someway. These hints have a bigger role maybe in starting journey. When you're better balanced the things just go right and you find your own ways to going forward.

    Yeah :D It is relaxing for me. I like also wash and make them shining. I try do everything as Well as i can also with cars. It is awesome try to maximize best performance and permanence It is good for the brain to think for example why some fault happening and how this and this system really works!   16. Well, looking from these days standards it could look like that. But back in those days, those things was not so important cause there was not so much injected ideals to society. These days everyone talks about sex, money and other worldly things, so people start to think that they need it to be happy, when in fact they dont know what they need for happiness. And those few who have what society appreciates and wants - like Instagram stars - those rich and beautiful people often live the emptiest and unhappy life deep inside.

    Look from other side - these days kids lose their virginity at teenage years and don't want to live anymore closer to their 20's. These days you can find 14 year old girl with sexual experience. It all damages heart and leaves scars and pain that takes away from happiness and healthy life and world perception.
