When I hear someone coming down with throat cancer, I think that oral sex practices may have been a cause. The Michael Douglass cancer effect according to his view of it.

Also know someone I used to play chess with at a club who came down with a serious case of throat cancer and he was a known serial philanderer, boasted of bedding down hundreds of girls here in CT. Also a very arrogant unspiritual person. He had a site on bdsm.

Every time I hear someone getting throat cancer, almost always men, I think of guys performing oral sex.

Considering most of the things we take into our body, healthy or not, are ingested orally, I doubt there is one singular cause to throat cancer.

I don't eat junk food, which is usually lacking in unhealthy transmissible microbes like the female vagina which can be healthy or unhealthy for various reasons.

I'm sure it doesn't help, especially if a girls personal hygiene isn't up to par, her diet could probably affect it as well.

If you are not enjoying it don't do it. The soft underbelly of guys/girls can harbor a lot of bad bacteria; porn may promote the body as an endless recreation area, but realistically, the human body has definite functions, can work like a Swiss watch but can become laden down with toxins and harbor dangerous diseases. Sex is for those who are in good health usually, not as some type of tonic at will.

Yep. It’s due to the HPV.

According to Dr Patrick Carnes, sex addiction expert, it’s the LEADING cause of throat cancer.

If you look at all the health effects from excessive and unwise sexual practices it is quite shocking. When I hear older guys say that they are dealing with ulcers, I think erectile dysfunction drugs and that is one of the side effects. Sex is stressful and to make it worse through drugs is just plain stupid.

I assumed it was mainly a nicotine issue.

  9. Oral sex itself is not the problem. If that was the case lesbian women would have the highest rates of STDs but they are actually one of the healthiest demographics in terms of sexual diseases.

Well, it’s not like they have many other options. It’s either taking medication and dealing with side effects or not being able to have sex at all.

Sorry but that is bullshit. Gays and lesbians are the people with the highest rates of all kinds of STD's

Definitely. STD's from promiscuous and/or unprotected sex contribute greatly to it. I also read that having more than 10 different sexual partners raises exponentially the risk both for men and women and from all oral, vaginal or anal sex.

  12. That is what happens when people abuse their bodies' functions outside of the natural and preconceived. I always ask people who defend practices like oral sex two unavoidable questions.
Is oral sex natural ? is it the way our bodies are designed to be used and explored ?. You can already know the answer any 12 years old could.
Is it really appealling or really respectful ? this is the question most do not dare to respond honestly too, because deep down they are aware it is not something really healthy or even biologically explainable. Apart from the mindless quest for pleasure that is.
Not at all, I have a friend who is a medical trainee, and who said that many women too suffer from serious complications due to oral practices. And I remember telling someone on this very forum how a 18 years old contracted a serious cyst in her mouth because she performed oral regularly on her partner. In the beginning she didn't dare telling the truth about the origin of her infection. But after she finally addmitted it, she told them that it never came to her she could end up like this while her partner had a good hygiene.
Really if you ask medical personal you will hear some creepy stories revolving around oral or anal sex.

If you look at Black's Law Dictionary's definition of "sodomy" it does include "oral sex". I would be a lot more tolerant distinguishing between natural and unnatural oral sex, that is loving, natural and to make a couple's sex more uniting. Those who go wantonly from partner to partner without love miss all of that.

  14. look if we want to analyse this objectively: oral sex is unnatural even practiced within a couple, it can't be explained except with anything beside environemental influence. and even a virgin partner might transmit infection to the giver.

  15. I didn't really get it here.

  16. well logically speaking, changing the situation in which an unnatural sexual act is practiced doesn't take away the abnormity surrounding it.

  17. The term sodomy is (was) used by abrahamic religions to describe any sexual act that cannot be explained or justified with our innate biology. I think this is what you meant here. But even if the situation of "a loving couple" might seem appealing, it doesn't really make this any more natural or normal (according to anatomy 101). A number of cultures rejects these type of acts (oral/anal) because they do not abide to human nature, nor they feel truly comfortable for the ones performing them. I think it is mainly those two factors that make people view them as degrading or unrepectful to one's partner.
But even without being religious, a lot of people still reject those two forms of sex. Really it doesn't have to be tied to religion at all. That is also real for sure.

I once was a real hardliner on this, but it just engenders rancor and controversy. I know a lot of people who are life long prudes, judgmental, some are married, some aren't. It really does no good to stand in judgment of those who are committed couples and are open on communication on what they want to do. That is a lot better than sitting alone with a computer somewhere typing something, or worse jerking off pruriently watching those who engaged in sex at some time in the past.

  20. I'm just stating facts. To me it just comes naturally: 1+1=2; Being judgemental is not the term I'd use for that, it's called having a critical sense.
It is also using your brain to assess the informations thrown at you. I don't really care about what people might do, but if I end up getting information about it, I would give my most sincere and logical opinion. If some person told me about oral being a natural sexual act I would tell him no, it is not according to human anatomy and they are a deviant biologically speaking (again no religion is brought up here). They can keep doing what they do for all I care, but I don't think it can keep me (or anyone else) from having a personal judgement, either it is held secret or overtly stated. look saying that oral is unnatural is not a judgement; it is a fact. A universal knowledge that can be deduced easily by a middle schooler who knows the basics of biology. And saying it is not sanitary is also a fact, just like the former. people who view oral as unrespectful or degrading mostly build their personal feelings of aversion/disgust on those two former facts: if humans leaked avocado juice from their rear ends no one ever will think it's degrading.
