I feel shitty physically and psychologically most of time during reboot, being 108 days in hard mode now :( I exercise, eat properly, even sleep enough lately and for some unknown reason still have zero energy and chronical body pains, especially in joints. I'm like a zombie, when I wake up in the morning. It's kind of funny I felt better, when I was bingle PMOing five or more times a day, then I feel now. I read people usually have more energy, not less, during reboot. For me, it's like being 100 yo. Don't get me wrong, I have no intention to quit, life before reboot was worse, all things considered, but this isn't what I was expecting to get.

What's going on? How can I get out of this low energy mode?

Almost 2 years later answer to my question would still be, sleep enough, eat well, exercise every day regardless the fatigue. The only thing I'd add is to just hold on. 108 days seemed a lot back then, but it was really not.

A lot. I'm not the same person as I was 2 years ago. I got rid of social anxiety and deep depression. I don't contribute it strictly to abstention, it has more to do with working on my mindset and implementing life style changes into my daily life, but still, there would be no transformation without getting rid of addiction.

Maybe some kind of holistic exercise system like Qigong would help? Conventional exercise can make you stronger and fitter, but it doesn't necessarily increase your inner feeling of energy. Another possibility is that there is a type of food that your body doesn't get on with. A lot of people feel better without wheat or dairy, for example. I used to feel like you described. I would wake up feeling like I'd been run over by a truck. It's taken me a lot of hard work and many false starts, but I'm 44 now and I feel better than ever.

  7. Depression can cause fatigue. It takes a long time to heal. Maybe get an appointment with a professional about that. Burnout is also a real thing. Maybe dont try to fight it, accept that you are tired and see if you are able to recharge that way. Another thing I heard about is lack of magnesium in your system. Look it up. Maybe you have magnesium deficiency. Also lack of vitamines like D vitamine and B12 can cause fatigue. Take a blood test maybe? Then you have a ton of other possible causes. Too much stress, overthinking, neck injury and so on can cause fatigue.

  8. Supplements bro, I take tons by a company called plnt, they are organic and they work super well, just look up different ones and buy some, they have one for like every issue from joint pain to anxiety to low energy. Nature has given us everything we need to thrive!.

Hey, sorry if i'm interrupting the discussion but, for holistic, "qigong" what you mean? its some type of yoga or something?
I'm askin because, i'm running my 20th day of Hard mode, and today, thanks to my frequent insomnia, which even if i fall asleep fast, i struggle to get a deep sleep and i wake up around 5 or 4:30 a.m, almost every day and then i fall asleep in around 20 min. I feel , as today, more tired than usual, both body and mind, for the body, well i can handle it, but when my mind feels tired too, its when it goes ,lets say, run wild , and think about my ex girlfriend , which, if you read my other topic, the relationships ended almost 2 years ago..

Maybe its my diet, or something about my habits, i dont do workouts, but i work almost every day in my little farm, so i am pretty busy, somehow this is not enough.
I'm running out of options, i cant get another of these days, weeks, of insomnia… i'm thinkin of melatonin but i hate any type of medicines if not strictly necessary..
So i'm asking if you have some tips, for this fatigue mixed with insomnia…
    Thanks in advance

Qigong is a system from China to improve mental and physical health. It's also part of some traditional martial arts systems. I suppose the overall aim is a bit like yoga but the exercises are completely different. Maybe there is a class in your area.

Just an educated guess, but it sounds like your system is exhausted. According to traditional Chinese medicine, when the body is exhausted, the mind 'floats' during sleep and it's difficult to get restful sleep.

Everybody is different, but these are the things that helped my insomnia and energy levels:
    1. Don't worry about the fact that you're lying in bed and you're conscious. Focus on your body and breath. You can do something like relaxing the body piece by piece. There are different layers of consciousness. You can be conscious quite a way into the sleep process. No problem. It can be very pleasant and interesting.
    2. Is it so bad waking up at 5? I get up around 5-5:30 and do my qigong and meditation before breakfast. It's a peaceful time of day.
    3. Cut out all forms of caffeine, including coffee, tea, cola, chocolate and so on.
    4. No screens for 2 hours before sleep.
    5. Avoid mental stimulation before sleep, like reading a newspaper that might make you annoyed about some event.
    6. Do some gentle exercise before sleep, like stretching, yoga, or qigong, and some simple meditation, like observing the breath.
    7. General health: natural wholefood diet, moderate exercise, some fresh air and daylight when possible.
    8. Qigong and meditation.

Hope some of this is helpful.
    9. Most important: renunciation. Non-attachment to what you want or don't want. That is the key to stopping the repetitive thoughts.

First off, thanks for sharing these info to me, i really appreciated that.

I have no issue into falling asleep really, i usually get asleep in 5 10 minutes max, my problem is that i wake up at 4.am or around 5, but i still have the need to sleep, so i try to fall asleep again and this time is more difficult, as you know, you get nervous, but once again, in 20 min i fall asleep but , its not a good one, i mean, how you can get a good sleep?
I dont use anything that has a screen for 1 hour before going to bed,
i hate coffee and i get, in a week, just 1 cup of tea, in the morning instead of the milk, thats it.
Chocolate, i dont have it at home in any form, just a little glass of red wine at lunch and sometimes at dinner too.
I think this thing, is more Psychological
As when i go to sleep, i dont think or try to not to,that i will get up at 4 or 5 a.m, it happens almost every time, so maybe inside me, something makes me wake up at this time.
I tryed with melatonin (1mg, for 3 days) but i get tired the morning after, lack of energy, headcache, i get distracted more and cant get focused.
I know the answer to all of this is, inside me... just need to find the right path

You're right, there are not many external causes there. As I said, I think your system is exhausted and your mind is 'floating'. Do you have any opportunities in your area to learn Qigong and meditation?

Maybe my psychological system is trying to find an answer to this "change", maybe its adapting itself, fixing itself, some how.

Let me clarify, the last few months, i used to masturbate 3 times in a week at max, at my worst, 5 times in a week, but i reduced it as i learned to wait, i dont do it everyday since i was, idk, 15 or 14, it was year before i had my first gf.
Not doing it, since the 5 February, and i mean nothing at all, ok, i had some daydreaming, many hot dreams and one of them made me, well, my pants cant testify but i can say for sure, that they were not clean.
Its something, yes, new, but i used to, without knowning, of 30 or more days of No PMO, but yeah, it was when i was engaged, with the last one, we used to go to gym together, so it was easier to spend some sexual energy there.

I may try again, to go to gym but, i used to go there only because of HER, i cant go back there, maybe a different gym, would work too, i dont know, my focus atm are not there.
My focus is to reset my reward or dopamine system, as for everyone there, is all screwed thanks to porn and other crap

To answer you, no, my city is a pretty small and simple one, we dont have these kinds, badly...
