Had some success last year, but relapsed and back into PMO. Ugh!

Last year I had some great success when I discovered the reddit.com nofap community. I did well, but then discovered reddit had porn too. Now I can't go to the site because I end up caving into the temptation to look at subreddits that are not helping me. At any rate, I'm completely back into my addiction. I've only been clean a few hours, but I'm here because I do want to conquer this problem as it destroys my moral fiber and has a bad effect on my self esteem.

I'm 52 years old so summarizing my sexual history would be a wall of text. Suffice it to say, I have been addicted to masturbation and porn for over 40 years. At times, I feel like it is a futile effort. I do find that if I am successful in staying clean from porn and masturbation, I don't progress into more overt forms of unwanted sexual behaviors.

Another component to my issue is that although I have been married for 30 years to a great and forgiving woman, I struggle with same sex attraction. Consequently, gay porn does it for me as I use it to fantasize and escape from life.
