    I did PMO...
Last night I drank alcohol and that already put me the relapse seed on me. The next morning I have done it. I don't think consuming alcohol is doing any good to me and that's another thing I have to get rid of.
Whenever I drink alcohol I feel like I'm doing something bad for my body and mind and fighting to stop pornd addiction seems pointless.
So, as I said, I'm going to say goodbye to those bad habits!

yeah man, 20 years of this addiction. honestly there´s a kind of nostalgia to say goodbye, you know? that´s why i did it, it was like "man, are you just gonna leave for good? no goodbye?". it was a totally emotional and unrational behaviour. but it´s done and i do not regret it.

thanks for "mourning the addiction" concept, never heard of that. i´ll dig in after reading my present rebooting material.

Let´s stay in the right path my brother. i have a strong feeling that friday, the 6 of march 2020 was the last time i fap in my life.

good insight bro, good insight. i already switch to non alcoholic beer, and since long i don´t drink wine. i´m gonna stay with the non alcoholic beer for the rest of my life since it has the same taste and no harmful effects. about the wine, i´m gonna resume wine drinking in the future, but only in small doses, at weekends.

sobriety is not only about nofap, as time passes, we see that sobriety it´s about all the things that prevents us from seeing the beauty and perfection of life :)

Brothers, Im sorry. Im sorry to disappointing you. I was very rare online on this page because I thought if I reduce the amount of soical media, I can avoid porn. But thats not true, in my case. I relapsed again right now. I feel anger because I am back at day 0 and all my benefits are gone.
    And thats my problem.
The whole journey was like :" Yo you are again under 10 days so that means all your benefits are gone and you need to wait 10 or 5 days to feel better again"
I dont want this mindset anymore. A number doesnt say how "good" you avoided pmo. I still play guitar, hit the gym, (even some relatives said that they see results) and try to better myself, but relapsing. So now I start with small goals: At first 1 week PMO hardmode. Then 2 and so on.
Then we will see if I feel better or not. I wish all of you the best Brothers!

Day 1, 2 and 3 down! Haven't had a lot time to check-in since my last relapse. However doing well so far, same small urges, but nothing to worry about. Going tall again!
Thanks for the advice. PMO was not the solution for the hopelessness I felt before the relapse, actually it's never a solution. Anyway never lower the defenses, no matter how good you fell...

I see the logic in this - make peace with your past or it will haunt you. Makes totally sense to me...

still you got to do your reboot work brother. challenge daily your beliefs in pmo, read on the subject daily, stay accountable daily, and always have your triggers plan ative. are you doing that? if you rely only on willpower and distract yourself from pmo, your heading for failure again.

that´s why it´s good to write down all the excuses that you use to pmo, and write down answers to it. read the excuses and the answers daily, so to be prepared when the addicted mind tries to lure you. this awareness mindset + triggers plan works very well together ;)

2 days my brothers. here´s an interessing excerpt from "rebooting as the best remedy". Have a nice day.

"Many brothers comment that they have experienced little improvement or a very slow speed of recovery during their reboot. There are several factors to this; frequent nocturnal emissions, unhealthy lifestyle and also the lack of habit to exercise. According to my research, those who frequently exercise while rebooting recover faster and better compared to those who don’t exercise. This is what is mentioned in TCM: movement raises the Yang energy, strong Yang energy contributes to longevity. Of course, I’m talking about moderate exercise and not over-exercising, over-exercising is just as bad as under-exercising.

Although lots of brothers are undergoing rebooting, they are still staying up late at nights and sitting for long stretches of time. Either they are lacking a deep understanding towards these two issues, or they do it out of habit. The power of habit is very strong and is difficult to correct immediately, however difficult, we must still change the habit with the courage that a warrior possesses. We must correct it or the negative consequences will not be light.

The notion of staying up during the night, many brothers thinks that this means to stay up during the entire night. Actually, when I refer to staying up during the night I mean sleeping later than 23:00. If you go to bed past 23:00 then the body will have a hard time recovering, this is because what is mentioned in TCM: 23:00 is the time when Yang energy begins to rise, during this time one must be asleep for the body to recovery better, if past this time the body will have a harder time to recover. We can compare this to the analogy of missing the last bus at night, we can only resort to waiting for the bus on the following day. According to TCM, if we staying up during one night, a long period of time is required for us to recover from it. The latent harm in staying up a single night might require 100 days for the body to fully recover.

Many brothers don’t understand this medical knowledge and treat staying up as regular snacks. Oftentimes it is the combination of staying up, long sitting and masturbation that quickly wrecks the health and they may see the onset of neurasthenia and psychological problems."
