AFTER 4 YEARS IM FREE!

I am so thankful for all of you on this website and this community. This 30 days has been some of the best days of my life. I have tried to quit for 4 years now and just turning 21 little over a month ago I feel I can move on from MO as I have quit porn since Nov. 1 2018. The Lord has brought me through and I feel stronger than ever. He has given me strength to say no and the confidence to go through this. I can’t tell you how proud I am and how I’ve longed to post on here.

I can remember how depressed and insecure I felt when I was doing MO every day and how drained I felt. I want people to know the number one reason you should quit is 1. For the Lord Jesus Christ and 2. For yourself. If you’re doing it for a woman or just seeing how far you can Be clean or some other reason you are mistaken for temporary fixes. And the great thing is if your a saved Child of God you have the Holy Ghost to guide you and I don’t know why I went through a deep valley like this but I do know it was for a reason. I’m not proud of it but our experiences make us who we are.

I don’t plan on slowing down I plan on continuing this LIFESTYLE change. I feel like I treated my past tries as diets and it became easy to have a “cheat” day. But until we get through that it’s a life change then the pain of continuing succeeds the pleasure then we will start seeing a victory. How long I’ve longed to make this post and everyone should be so proud they have made it to 30 Days!!! But it’s not time to rest on our Loral’s But to KEEP MOVING AND FIGHTING. The Bible says, the devil is seeking whom he may devour and it also says to guard our heart from all evil. I believe the Lord can see you through this season in your life.

This brings the song Softly and Tenderly Jesus is calling to my mind and how it touches my heart.

YOU CAN WIN!! And DONT EVER GIVE UP! I BELEIVE!!

the bible says many times lust is wrong. and when we MO we are Lusting in our own minds to some girl. Hence creating problems in public viewing women more sexually. thats number one. Number 2 is I want a clean mind for my future wife instead of telling her "yes honey I MO to a bunch of other girls every night before I met you." and you probably will do it to other women when you are with her. But I want to be faithful before I'm with her and that is a personal conviction. I want good habits and trust with my future spouse. t
there are some other tiny reasons but that is the main things that I believe and why its a sin.

 

it feels like and has felt like a goliath. the last 2-3 days have been rough but have stayed strong by the power of the holy ghost. I cant grow complacent. Thanks for you words.
