    Check In Day 5

    Hello Spartans,

The state has determined we should not gather in groups of more than five.

I am spending quality time with family. Eating well. Training. And working on my writing project. I have not quit. I am going to continue until I fail or succeed. So many years of effort. I may fail but that does not make me a failure. If someone fails to make the Olympic team are they a failure? Or are they a success because they went so far in their sport, all the way to the last step, and fail. Are they a failure? Am I failure if I have come so far, all the way to this last stage and I fail? No. I am not. I may fail but I am not a loser. I am a fighter. I will fight!

    Day 107

People are all going crazy over the virus

I know all about what the Bible says about disease.

    AMA - ask me anything!

  3. Ok, let's go write it all.

I truly failed this challenge, since I entered here. My best streak is just 8 days and I'm not satisfied with this. I feel that if I want to be a true Spartan, I'll have to reach the day 9, at least. So here I am again, showing my face once again to this challenge I already tried to follow "the winners" here, many times, now I can.

@Kratos_GOW I'm still here, even all the time out, or I'll need to wait?

imo its important to "spot the enemy" or "spot the vicious cycle", ever notice the enemy or the cycle of PMO is always similar.. and no matter how or when u will facing the same enemy in this journey,,,until u defeated that enemy then u will make progress and then face new enemy

make plan and dicipline on that plan is the key,,,

its like in sparta movie, the spartan is attacked by various enemy from human to magical creature..it need different strategy to battle it, different analyze and dicipline to caried out that plan

hope this help and welcome back again @GonTheHunter

    Checking in Day 14.

Runny nose continues. No cough but I just don't feel 100%. Was feeling tired and bit feverish this afternoon so I took my temperature: 98 degrees even.

I remain thankful for good health.

My fridge and pantry are almost empty so I have to go to the grocery store this week. At least the stores appear to be stocked.

  8. Did you?
I don't think so. Relapsing will never be the reason why you fail this challenge, if you would have left the challenge without ever coming back, that would be the moment in which you would have really failed.
Anyway @Kratos_GOW unfortunately can't be online these days, so I guess you can start with us and then he will give you the final answer when he will be able to come back :)

Thanks a lot, I'll try to remember this.
As long as I'm healthy and in a good mood, that's okay. But when comes the day when I'm really tired or anything else, I'm afraid that I probably won't want to bear my emotions, my envies,.. and this is when I usually relapse. Discipline is easy only when you feel good. How can I manage my urges during a "bad day" ?

    Check in day 5

  10. I'm doing good so far, I think I'll successful, but the thing is my mind should be purified, thoughts would not contain any other things... except my goal!!

  11. Wish the best for he.

So, I'll take care of me now. Day 2. :)

Keep taking it one day at a time. Stay dedicated. Focus on progress not perfection. You’ve spent a lot of days not doing pmo. Even if they are not all in sequence, you’ve made some good changes. Just keep coming and logging in everyday.

Discipline is not about what you do when the conditions are favourable. Discipline is about what you do when the world is against you. That’s when discipline is most important. It’s easy to do squats with no barbell. It’s not so easy with 200 or 300 pounds on your shoulders. But you can’t get there until you put your time in. Until you do hundreds and thousands of reps with lighter weights. Working your way up. There’s no shortcut.

So you continue to be disciplined. And you practice being in a proper mood with a little less sleep, a little less food, a little less entertainment, a little more stress, a little more pressure, a little more challenge. And some day you’ll be able to handle yourself even though you are exhausted and stressed and hungry and feel alone all at once.

The answer to your problem is the problem itself. Find your limits. And push against them. Day after day. Week after week. Month after month. Year after year. There’s really no finish line here. Just a journey.

And remember what you have already accomplished. Be inspired by what you have done. And then keep pushing. We are all here for this reason. Not to finish. But to continue!

    Check In Day 6

    Hello Spartans,

Everything is shut down here. But we have not yet seen the virus really take hold of our population. So we are just waiting.

I am still working on my research and my training. So while the world is frozen around me I am still moving forward. Taking advantage of this opportunity.

It has been a very productive week. Thank you all for welcoming me back. It feels great to be here with you all again.

  15. Checking day 22
A bit of urge but kept strong
Did a bit of workout and completed my studies.
For 5 days in a row now the numbers of the virus are good, so this time it seems real.
Maybe we are starting to go out from this nightmare.
I know it will take even months to go out completely but at least we're seeing a bit of light.

    Checking in Day 15.

Took a 2-hour lunch and went to the grocery store and got almost everything I needed. Store was pretty well stocked. I'm gonna go back tomorrow, same time, and get more groceries.

Going for pushups and a run this evening.

Ordered golf gloves today, which are scheduled to arrive at my place next TUES. My company has a gym, and since very few of us are using it, I'm gonna start training there again. I miss lifting weights. As soon as my gloves arrive next week I'm hitting the gym.
