Emergency situation - need a moderators help right away

    Rock bottom hit four days ago. I may not survive. I reached out years ago on this site, trying to find help. I need to find those posts somehow but I cant remember my log in information. My life is over, soon, one way or another......

    I appreciate all the concern. I dont generally have access to computers but I did seek help and spent four hours with that help. It was productive but I have no idea where things will end up. I can say that if you're one who's seen the edges of their addiction get blurry I can tell you its not worth it, dial it back in, get out completely or if you cant then at least get within the edges or you will in up in a hell you can't imagine. I'm about to lose it all because of an addiction that I fought hard for years and have finally come to a place of having lost the battle with my addiction. I posted years ago about where I was then, about the fight I was in with my addition then, I need help finding those posts. I need a moderator to Please, help me. If you choose not to I understand.

    Really so bad giving up one minute before the miracle could happen?

    Hey @otherjay92, what is so bad about your situation that leaves you no other choice than saying your live is over, one way or another?

    And what is so crucial about posts from years ago when now is a few years later, you in a different place with new buddies around?

    In general lets just say its all about the progression of porn addiction and the direction internet porn steers guys. If you come across things that are just outside the edge of what you will tolerate move to the edge of what you will tolerate then eventually it will move within the edges of what you will tolerate. That just moves your edges but there is always something just outside the edge and over time what you will tolerate move steadily outward until eventually the edges that you didnt really realize gradually moved become so far from where they should be that you are in a bad place. Be aware that the slow movement of the edges doesn't mean the edges as a whole haven't move quite far from where they should be but because of the slow movement of the edges you may only realize whats happening in moments but those moments, due to the power and nature of addiction, are short lived, because the addictions is just that strong. I've been fighting this a long time. I came here quite a while ago and pleaded for help but the addiction was stronger than my ability to receive help.

    Thank you Coffee, your words are helpful, I did seek help and the feeling of hopelessness has gone......for the moment. You will all be a resource of help and inspiration towards a bright future I hope to attain but the waves come and go and I have no idea what each moment will bring. In my efforts to look for help here I can say that the person I talked with seemed to have a lot of knowledge about how the technical aspects of porn addiction works from a scientific standpoint. I'm pretty sure he was a moderator but I may be mistaken. To be honest I don't know that it was even this forum. I know it looked like the same forum as far as the colors and the board style. I also know the board I was on years ago had the 20 day, 30 day and so forth challenges. Do any if you know of any other forums that look the same as this that I may have been on as opposed to this forum? I searched the user names for old user names I may have used and none of them popped up so I'm almost thinking it had to have been a different forum.
