Awesome post man! Can you go deeper on the “grace” subject? What kind of meditation or religion do you practice?

  2. I have experienced at least 1 or 2 in your benefits for 1 or 2 days back then. But after each full blown pmo put me back in hell till this day. Once in a blue moon I have had some glimpses of them even though I have done 480 days of no pmo.

  4. Some fapstronaut might read this and think: " I have all these benefits at 2 days of no PMO !"

It is always fun and inspiring to read the success-stories of other long term NoFappers on this forum. After having been on semen-retention (and hard-mode) myself for almost a whopping 26 months at this point, I can agree with almost all of the points you mention.

One point I can't really stress enough to many long-term abstainers here (and every Fapstronaut on this Forum) getting into the 90-100+ day mark for the first time is that you got to acquire a holistic view to NoFap, meaning you got to try improving yourself in every single walk of life without exception. That's because that initial rush of big and fast benefits will settle after some time and in order to keep/maintain them, feeling great and progressing in life you got to push on and keep going, even when it feels tough and challenging.
Because (speaking from personal experiences here), that moment you start slacking too much on your good habits and routines, you also start slipping backwards faster on the slippery slope than you realize and the longer time you take to drag yourself up, the harder will it be to get back onto that greatness track again.
Not to create scaremongering here or anything, I just wanted to create some needed awareness about this phenomenon as it is easy to think you will be all set and ready after those first 100+ days but even if the urges clearly settle after those initial 90-100+ days, it means you can't go back living your former pre-NoFap lifestyle again (minus the fapping).

Being successful on NoFap in the long run means also changing your former destructive lifestyle, turn it around 180 degrees and do so for good, not just temporarily because the moment you feel you're finally onto that greatness-path, you will feel absolutely no desire or willingness going back again.
One thing apart from exercise, reading, learning/acquiring new things and skills that will help you greatly in your journey towards greatness is your diet.
I can't stress how key it is to cut out all processed foods, fast carbs, added sugars and artificial sweeteners from your diet because as long as you ingest this, you will become addicted, enslaved to that processed and engineered junk and also start losing control over yourself. If buying whole and healthy foods means sacrificing that Netflix-subscription, take-aways and video-game console, go ahead and do it because if you don't have your body, mind and health in check, you won't be able to enjoy them anyway.
I have been sugar-free for almost two weeks now and can't describe what a positive impact that has had on my psyche and overall health.

It might sound harsh but some time you got to prioritize what really matters in life and video-games is something I consider belonging to boys, not grown and responsible men. A real man should try building himself a library, not a video-game collection.

    Sure it is!
The moment an adult male goes on to continuing playing video-games in his early adult years and forward (above the age of 20-21), he gives away big parts of his manhood and will remain in boyhood (and loser-hood) until the point he starts taking his self-improvement and self-education journey seriously. Such a journey can never continue or even begin unless he actually develops some basic reading skills -and habits which can only be done by reading books on a regular basis.
Any man who instead continues playing video-games for years on end is doomed to lose in life and never progress towards greatness.

Wow! Just from reading your feedback made me want to search online about semen retention. Your description made me want to know more. I am currently doing no PMO challenges, but now after reading your story which inspired me will make me want to take other personal challenges. Thank you and keep it up.

This was really good for me to read. The truth is that the first time I gave up porn I really experienced all of these benefits. It was really noticeable. This was back in 2015. I did retention for 60+ days and felt the difference immediately, I stayed no porn for about 10 months. The whole time I felt confidence and energy I never had before, just as you describe. Right now I'm almost 9 months no porn. Even when I practice retention I never feel how great I felt back in 2015. I definitely don't want to go back to porn because of how bad and defeated it makes me feel, but I would like to feel the benefits you describe. Lately I've been doing MO because my main goal is to stay away from porn. Sometimes the excess sexual energy of going monk mode makes me feel at risk for a porn relapse. But now I'm committing to monk mode for a week because I've been thinking about porn more often. Just being isolated at home during the covid thing has been challenging. I NEVER thought about porn for the past 4-5 months, now all of a sudden it's on my mind. Maybe it's also important for me to reach the 90 day retention threshold. That's something I've never done. Maybe getting there and beyond will help me experience more of the benefits and energy
